Weigh in for the month, and I've lost 3lbs which I'm chuffed about as it's been blooming hard this month what with the yukie virus that layed me low for a couple of weeks, DH on hols and his birthday  . So the targets getting closer and I now have under a stone to go :j :j :j , 12lbs to be exact!!!!!!
You are all so wonderful :T , many thanks for the encouragement and glad I'm not the only cradle snatcher:rotfl: :rotfl: . My DH has always been old for his age and I've never really grown up. I still don't know what I want to be when I do! He says someone got our 'hatching' dates wrong :rotfl: .
By the way the bolero goes with a full length dress I got in a sale which is so 'hippie' style it's great. Got some jeweled sandels to go with it, but I can't find the bell I wore in London in 1967, drat. At least the dress is all flowery. Carnaby Street was amazing to see, so full of colour, fantastic, I've never fully recovered
. Yes I am definately going to grow old disgracefully (just needed your confidence boost) and we can all do it together :T .
Good grief the pounds are falling off so many of you, brilliant :T :T :T . Lots of hugs for anyone who's feeling a bit down in the paw, hope you're up and wagging soon. Lovely and sunny here at the moment so plan on giving the plum tree a little TLC. Doesn't look happy so a good dose of fish, blood and bone meal might help perk it up, fingers crossed. Has anyone tried growing a fig in a container? Alan T says they do quite well and I love figs. New project for next year with the old water tank me thinks  .
Have a great weekend everyone, and thanks again for your support.

Well done on the losses folks :j :T .... some cracking results again
Well after posting this morning i had a wander to REAL -the nearest supermarket..got 2 big pots of local strawberries80c a pot and 2 punnets of nectarines mmmm got some other bits n bobs and dragged it back... so got an hours walking in...
i was back before hubby got out of bed :T then i got him to drive me back as i had spotted a collapsible table and 2 benches for €29.99.. the table folds up and goes inside the 2 benches -that become a carry case and then there is a black carry bag that unpops and becomes the bench covers... wanted one for the garden -i just don't have room at the moment for the big wooden set i want (so im getting that in the end of season sale in our last year here;) ).... well we ended up with 2..they will be brill for big BBQs and parties then can fold up in the loftalso thought they would be good for doing buffets as they will line up against a wall nicely and once they are covered they will be great:D i think i got a great bargain..i know i have seen similar on "this morning" before but not as big..
anyhow..what i was getting too -eventually was that when we got out of the supermarket.. hubby stopped and looked at me perplexed... then pointed out that i had got them and never once wonder if they would take me sitting on them -it never crossed my mind :rotfl:Normally i would have made sure -always had visions of sitting down and breaking a chair...but hubby had a look as he put them in the boot and each seat takes upto 240 kilo...so i think im safe...even if someone sits with me :j and they are really comfy
right i will get off and do some x stitch now..haven't picked it up yet
have a great afternoon all and keep at it -we will ALL get there :j-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
I've been a bit naughty today. Again. I bought a pastry from the corner shop for breakfast - my body seems to be craving carbs like there's no tomorrow ATM. And then I bought a chocolate bar in the village later on. But I'm quite proud of myself: normally I'd buy a big family sized bar (200g) and scoff it all but I forced myself to buy the diddy option instead (35g). I just have to keep reminding myself that Rome wasn't built in a day and that baby steps *will* eventually make a Big Difference.0

Hi All,
We had a lovely trip to Bruges and really enjoyed ourselves. I didn't worry about what I ate at all yesterday as we'd booked a breakfast and evening meal on board ship - so had the full works but didn't overdo it on anything. Whilst we were in Bruges (we had from 9.30am to 5.30pm there) we didn't have any meals but I did have a couple of Cokes and a waffle with caramel sauce (but no cream). We walked all round all day apart from the drinks in cafes and a boat trip so should have done a fair few steps.
I've caught up with everyone's postings since we went but forgot to make a note of who has lost - but well done everyone as there seem to be quite a few losers this week.
I don't have a toyboy either - OH is 10 years older than me (60 to my 50).
I didn't have any breakfast this morning as we were off the ship by 9am but we have been out for lunch. I was very good though and chose a prawn salad wrap and gave all but 3 of the chips it came with to OH.
B: Just a milky coffee
L: Prawn salad wrap. CokesNot sure but maybe egg on toast. HM Greek style yoghurt with raspberries.
Snacks: Banana, orange.

Oh...hello...didn't see you there....hope you brought sunglasses cuz the glare from my halo is just sssssssooooooooo bright:D
I played chauffeur to one of the offspring cuz their car is poorly, & we went into MrS on the way home. A quick glance at the me-&-you & decided on sharing a Big Breakfast. Let's just say that it was a good job I DID have my :A with me today, cuz all I snaffled was a 5mm smidge of sausage & a third of the one hash brown...if that's their description of big, I'd hate to think what they'd class my blubber as:o
Can't remember if I've already told you about the argument I must've had with a pair of cullottes.....they used to be so close, & snuggled in tight to where the sun don't shine;) but now stay away from me derriere as if it were the plague:D
And---drum roll & trumpet fanfare please---I've succeeded in my MIM Challenge!:j Almost two dress sized lost in approx 7wks! OK, it's clothes that have been in my wardrobe for a good many years, but still, once again they fit. I'm going to celebrate by doing some weeding....no-one can accuse me of not knowing how to live:rotfl: :rotfl:
Think I'll go for next size down over-shoulder-boulder-holder for June if that's OK?
Well Done tho, all you Marvellous Melting Mates of Mine!

My June target is 4lbs I've had a nice day so far walked into town with a friend I had my haircut while she had a pedicure, we had coffee and shopped then walked home and had a pavement lunch at a deli nearby (where DD3 has a saturday job) I'm just going to do some studying for my scuba course next weekend and tonight I'm going to see SITC film with DD's 1,2+3...never actually seen the series but time for mother daughter/s bonding. Will skip cinema snacks as I'm feeling :A ic!!
B- tea and a biscuit as running late for hairdresser
L- toasted chicken, bacon & spinach panini and apple juice

Afternoon folks :hello:
Feeling a bit better today, I decided there was no point in sitting about feeling miserable so took myself off to the lotty this morning and cleared the path of weeds, hard work, but it was lovely to be out in the sunshine and listen to the birds singingHead is still aching but nowhere near as bad as it was.
I stopped at JS on the way back and bought some jersey royals  to go with an SW spinach and mushroom quiche and salad for tea. Halfway round I realised that apart from the fact I was filthy from gardening I was wearing shorts and a strappy top   good job there was no-one around that I knewand the good news is.............my gardening shorts are now too big :j :j
I've had scrambled eggs, mushrooms and toast for brekkie and 3 bean salad for lunch.
I've just treated myself to a slice of buttered toast ! I really fancied it and thought "why not"I might as well seeing as how I won't be saving my 'syns' for a bottle of wine this weekend - too much medication!
Going to have a nice soak in the bath now:D See you later folks :A
