Seems its not important to know how many calories ironing burns off eh? Well that's another excuse to ignore the ironing pile for a bit longer
Right, just posting to say I've sat and had a think and I am having a full weekend off from the diet this weekend. I'm out with the girls tonight (I'm going to have a pint! I know, I'm a crazy fool!) and then on Sunday I am off to here for lunch, check it out http://www.sharrowbay.co.uk/fine_dining.asp?Page=lunch_menu Now what's the point of going to a Michelin starred restaurant (I'm not paying by the way!) and worrying about the most low cal option. I am going to savour every mouthful and get back on it come Monday. Sticky toffee pudding, you are mine!
Oh I never said congrats to the losers today - well done the lot of you, how blooming brilliant is our gang? :T
You've got planty of time before kabini to catch up- wet suit in 8 days aghhh

i was doing really well this week, until yesterday when i opened a bottle of wine a friend gave me!! just a couple of glasses - and then another and before i knew it there was not enough in the bottle to save - youve guessed it!! and then i went in search of food (5 biscuits and 2 mayo sandwiches!!!).
so todays punishment has been weeding the garden- its taken hours -must have burned off a substansial chunk of yeaterdays calorie intake.
no snaking today just a fruit smoothie for breakfast and a jacket potato and veg chilli for lunch tea will be a salad and quiche (slice not the whole thing).Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
evening all!
frogga - glad you have made up with Mr Frog:j
Kyle - well done on a great loss this week!:T
I had a delicious lunch out with my friend - not very low fat but very tasty! I had a brie and cranberry sandwich on granary bread with a side salad and a latte coffee, my friend had the same but had bacon on hers too.
While I was out i went to Julian Graves who had a sale on and bought a half price easiyo yoghurt maker and some sachets. I've wanted one for ages but am glad I waited:D we have got the first batch on which is a tropical mango yoghurt drink(probiotic) I'll let you know how it goes!
For tea I have just had quorn burger and boccoli and cheese pasta.
have a great evening all!Do what you love :happyhear0 -

Whoodely doodely on some more great losses folks :T and looks like Kyle is the slimmer of the week so far :j well done everyone
Well if it gets any muggier here im gonna collapse:eek: ..its terrible there is no air.. when we went round the golf course yesterday we made it to the 7th before we cam in..it was killing me..the plus point was that it reminded me that i used to feel like THAT all the time..im used to virtually skipping round the golf course..well not quite
....
Have just got back from aldi and lidl..restocked the fruit n stuff..the fridge doors are opened at your own peril at the moment..like giant Kerplunk :rotfl: I have also treated myself to 2 x 750g bags of muesli..1 is 50% fruit and the other 50% fruit n nuts.. they both have pumpkin seeds n allsorts of "good" stuff in them...and only €2 each...
Have jackets in the oven and the salad is done..cottage cheese too nomnomnom taplady
Frogga glad you have settled things with mr frog..it was done n dusted before i got back on the PC..so sorry i couldn't offer a friendly ear...
Just think WHEN you go to the family do at the end of the month you will be slimmer and it will also be the last time they see you at your current size..cos you WILL get to target and stay there
EmptyPurse...
Its amazing isn't it..that a set of scales can make you feel so pigged off -even when you know it isn't a true reading. Try not to get down about it... hopefully you will be in for a nice surprise on your weigh day
Suz... buy the clothes you WANT and not the ones you think you should have... you are working hard to lose weight..you deserve to wear something to show it off..heck im planning on growing old disgracefully :j ..im 36 and have never really been able to wear the kind of clothes i want..and i have said on here before my first big purchase when i get to target is a pair of thigh high boots
..not kinky boots honest
..just im a bit of a rocker at heart so a pair thigh high boots are my dream... now THAT will be inapropriate clothing :rotfl:
hello to cheerfulness, taplady, newlywed, M.E rose, keiss, and everyone else..hope we are all feeling motivated for the new June challenge

Just had a nice surprise! Bf has just got in from work and he has bought me a pedometerbless him. I've been going on about getting one to see how much I actually walk and he knows I want to loose weight so he decided to buy me one! So that will keep me motivated to exercise so i can see how many steps I tot up.
Just off to cook dinner now was planning a quorn sausage salad, didnt realise we had none forgot to check this morning so off to do sausages and something, hopefully we'll have something healthy I can eat somewhere!
hope everyone has a good evening

Well done Frogga and MrsM!!!:T :T :T and anyone else who lost or STS:T
Still a bit poorly, I've had a stonking headache all day today, sinuses are all stuffed up now:doh:
I had boiled eggs and soldiers for brekkie, jacket and beans for lunch, a banana for a snack and quorn lime and chilli dippers with sweet potato wedges and spinach for tea.
Suzid - I've got a toyboyMine's 13 years younger and we've been together over 20 [STRIKE]tears [/STRIKE] years:eek: Nowadays people say we look the same age - I look in my 40's I'm told *blushes* but he acts like an old man at times!!!
Wear what you feel good in, I think that as long as you feel nice in it then it's ok.
I've had my hair cut todayI've gone from a longish bob to a short 'choppy' bob
I really like it
Very 'spur of the moment' I went to make an appointment and he said he could do it then so I went for it
Right, off to phone daughter for a chat, her Dad's not coping very well with his chemo and she's a bit down about it
See you tomorrow folks :A0 -
