    Well done frogga!!!

Just think the average weight loss is 1-2lbs a week so you've done loads better than that ;)

Well done MrsM - that's a great loss.

Well done everyone else that has lost, and for those that haven't - I'm sure you'll catch up next week ;)

I've been paid so am trying to eat healthily again from today - been eating whatever is left in the cupboard :o

    Food today is:
Wholemeal toast with cherry jam (instead of the white bread and choc spread I've been eating)

Snacks are a banana, an apple.

Lunch is a chicken, rocket and light mayo sarnie

Tea is erm well, must do my meal plan :o Sainsbugs delivery is due later in the evening so might get some eggs and do an omelette or something.

    Ahhh WELL DONE frogga. :T :T :T :T :T :T Was worth the wait. :p

Now for once I'm glad my car wouldn't start and I couldn't get out. ;) Really pleased for you.

OH and DS have walked in the door after unsuccessfully looking for the address of their job today. I've now googled and set them right but they've missed induction so will have to go back Monday .. so that means we can go shopping and he's already repaired my car. (jiggle the wires and it starts but I wasn't in the mood this morning  )

Today I will really try hard to get back in my stride and write my food diary and plan. It seems almost impossible to get back to once I start missing.
I have food money again now that DS is back working (sadly our finances are that bad that I need his keep to eat. :o ) Still, we're getting there and one day will be debt free. :D

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Hello everyone - Well done Frogga and Mrs M! You are my heroines!!

I weighed in this morning with a 2lb gain:o - It is probably alot of fluid and carp in the system from all the flapjacks and the rubbish I ate late on last night and I WILL shift it (and hopefully a bit more) this week. My digestive system feels really rubbish - I feel bloated and a bit sick, so haven't eaten anything this morning, except for a cup of tea. Even after just a couple of weeks of relatively healthy eating, when I fall off the wagon my digestive system and IBS really play up - that'll teach me!

I am only planning to have a light lunch of salad with cottage cheese, and then for tea I don't know - I have some chicken breast fillets and some braising steak defrosted. I think I might just have the chicken with some bulghur wheat salad. I really like bulghur wheat - it is not as mushy as cous cous and mixes beautifully with salad veggies or with chopped apple, spring onions, raisins, mangos and a little curry powder and extra light mayo/salad cream.

Because I was up so late last night I started watching QVC - they had the easiyo stuff on Todays Special Value and I ended up buying the easiyo ice cream:eek: Apparantly it is low fat and full of friendly bacteria so we will see. I can't resist stuff like that on QVC sometimes -my cupboards are full of useless gadgets that I have been suckered into buying!

Anyway well done to all losers and STSers - hope you have a great day!

    Good morning all :hello: .
Great Big CONGRATS to Frogga and MRSM, blooming Marvelous!!!:T
Hello to all you newbies :hello: , aren't we doing well to attract so many new converts.

I've been having pangs of doubt about whether I should be buying 'younger' items at my age, 55 going on 35!! Bought a bolero cardie to go with a couple of dresses yesterday, and a handbag plus dangling keyring to go on it, then started thinking 'will I look silly with these at my age'. It's just so wonderful to go into shops and get nice things after all the years avoiding them like the plague. Felt so big and ugly just grabed mens clothes that I could hide in. DH is (don't faint!) 16yrs younger than me, so I'm surrounded by youngster and lose track of my own years. We've been together 20yrs so we must be doing something right.:D YES I'm also not shrinking back like I used to so have to hide the bingo wings, saggy thighs and wobbly tum:eek: . Oh joy :rotfl:

At last the runner beans have been given their freedom and are in the great outdoors. Planted them out yesterday and actually caught a slug on one of the sprouts:eek: . Anyway their time is numbered as the plot got treated yesterday so fingers crossed. Sorry can't remember who said about garlic spray but I've noticed that the sprouts planted by the garlic are fine but the ones closest to the potatoes are suffering, so me thinks next year I'll be planting loads of the stuff :D .

Must drag myself off and get thing done. Big hugs to all those not feeling happy at the mo for various reasons. Hope you all feel better soon.
    Suz

You are truly inspiring Mrs M. Hugs to you and your family :grouphug:

RS - try not to beat yourself up Hun. I've had episodes like yours this week. Shall we pull our fingers out together? One..........two..........three........ :p Anyone else want to join in too :D ?
