  • Hi all,

Wow, every time I look on here someone else has shrunk!! Way to go girls, well done all of you:T

Hope to be joining you come Monday, my halo's gleaming this week too:A ......a complete reverse on last week when I was shovelling anything and everything down! Wish I could stay in this positive state of mind but being at an age where the old hormones are raging it's not very likely, but I'm being angelic while I can!:D

Had a long overdue haircut this morning. The girl at the nail bar looked at a bit of a loose end when I was on my way out so I treated myself to a french manicure.... first time ever and I love it!! Been waving my hands round all day showing anyone who's interested..... or not:D Won't be making a habit of it but I'll definitely be going again.... just £10 to make me feel all glam, not
    bad at all!

Off out for a pub meal this evening. They do the most fantastic steaks and puds, pretty reasonable too.... and as I've been sooooooo good all week and hardly eaten anything today there's plenty of room left for a calorie overload tonight, can't wait!!

    Have a lovely evening everyone!

    Hello all,

thought I'd pop over from the grocery challenge. I really need to get my *** into gear. Last year I lost 4 1/2 stone, but since then I've had my darling little boy. He's now 7 months old and I've managed to lose 21 lbs, but am having trouble shifting the last 2 stone.

I lost the original weight with a sliming club, but don't want to go back as paying £5 a week to be weighed is not very mse. I have a wardrobe full of clothes, but only a couple of skirts and a pair of jeans that fit :o

you are all doing so well, hopefully you can help me get back on track.

    Sophie x
Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j

    Morning you fine peeps,
Three cheers for all the fantastic loses in our Marvelous in May challenge :T :T :T . God we're wonderful :D ! Love your June target BigMummaF :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Well it looks like DH has caught the gardening bug as he's gone off in search of any old water tanks (plastic), half water drums or anything else he can lay his hands on in his parents shed. The family were builders up until a few years ago so who knows what might be lurking amongst the general havoc. Fingers crossed.

DS2 arrived home yesterday, so gardening plans put on hold untill today. His girlfriend had been taken to hospital on Wednesday with a virus that affected her balance. She's on a post Grad course in London and was in the middle of her exams. Poor lass she works her socks off bless her and the doctors think the stress had made things worse. She's home now having had to miss her last exam and she and DS are off on hols on thursday, if anyone needed one it's her.

Wow your patio set looks great MRSM, and congrats on no longer having to worry about sitting on it :D . I went to an opticians last year and all they had was narrow bucket chairs that I could only just squeeze into, I had visions of waddling out with a chair attached to my posterior  .

Congrats on your little one Sosh and so glad you're decided to save your cash and join in the fun on here, we're far superior to slimming clubs, aren't we folks :D .
Well done saversarn on your fantastic loss :T :j and hitting your May target (I didn't) . Also delighted your shorts are too big Rockie it's such a great feeling isn't it. Not that I wear shorts of course, trousers or full length dresses for me anything to avoid showing off the old pins :o . Apart from legs we seem to have alot in common :D .

Have a great day folks. Not sure if I'm supposed to be Joyous, Jubilant of Just great in June or maybe all three  .
    Your confused Suz

Well, I have come to sit at the computer with my coffee and try not to eat anything else.... cooked up a storm yesterday as dd brought her music course friends here for meal and sleepover last night. Her b/f parents & other 2 sons stopped on their way home as well, so there were about 16 of us here for a while. they were late home and starving, so kids tucked into the pizza and wedges I had made, the parents had cake and tea before leaving. I had pizza (1 small piece) half doz wedges, plus cake. Hmm. Never mind. Brekkie was OK and I can't remember what I had for lunch.

Today have had breakfast (fruit salad and a hm scone.)

Lunch is leftovers or salad. Salad probably. My parents are coming, but we're all going to MIL which is great as I don't have to cook.

Kids all slept on sitting room floor, I think there were 8 of them lined up on the mattresses from the trailer tent and anything else they could find. The ones who are still here are sitting under duvets, eating breakfast and watching Phantom of the Opera. I have a spare room to clean post b/f and b4 parents take residence. Then I think I will spend some time sewing. It should distract me from eating!

Hope you are all OK, need to read back through the thread.

Back to work tomorrow. [strike]: )[/strike] : (

Editing.... I forgot to mention that I made hobnobs with lumps of crystallised ginger in them, but managed not to eat toooooooo many,

    :D Morning All,

I think today is a REALLY good day to get back on track if you need to. Firstly it's the 1st of the month and secondly it's a Sunday. Sundays are REALLY good days to "start Again" :j because, well, it's a Sunday :j Clever me :D

Started yesterday really noticing that I'm in the "cant be bothered to eat" phase at the moment. I am having to remind myself to eat and it's a bit of a chore. Mr Frog and the Tadpoles had loads of sweets and chocolate and I didn't even want any. Not even for a while. I just thought, no I don't "do" chocolate and sweets  Not sure if it's a good thing but it felt quite good not craving it.

Right off to potter in the garden and then after lunch we are all gonna sit in front of the telly and watch last nights Dr Who and Casualty :D God, what an exciting Frog I am

    See Ya xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo he he he xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
