    Hi Everyone,

Hardly ever on these days although, Im still trying hard to keep up the good eating, and Ive been okay.

Had my very first personal trainer exercise session last Wednesday , OMG I thought I was going to die. I felt sick and dizzy and thought I was going to pass out. She had to push me harder than she normally would to see what my body could take:eek: . She said she wont do that again (thank goodness), because she now knows my limit. Since then I havent felt right, I think my body has went into shock lol. Anyway will have another one next week, so hopefully it wont be too bad.

I havent weighed myself for almost 3 weeks, as the girl who is doing the personal trainer thing said to wait until 4 weeks had passed before I got weighed again, so, dont know if Ive lost or put on.

The plan for today isnt very much, not feeling too good today as its TOTM.

Breakfast was Fruit N Fibre and a coffee (do you know for every glass of coffee you drink, you shoudl drink 6 glasses of water, as coffee can dehydrate you).

Lunch will be bagel (not home made im afraid), with extra light soft cream cheese and a turkey rasher

Dinner not sure yet. Will wait and see how I feel cos stomach is absolutely killing me.

Anyway, Im away to lie down with a hot water bottle.

Take care everyone, and although im not on every day, doesnt mean Im not thinking how your all getting on.

    Jackie xx

    Morning all,

Congratulations to all you wonderful losers, especially RS, truely amazing.:j :j :T :T . Well done to those who managed to maintain this week, and 'come on you fabulous peeps, you can do it too' to those who put on.

Hello to newbees :hello: , welcome to the mad house :D .

Lovely day again here so plan on getting the veg bed ready for the runner beans, banking up the potatoes and venturing up into the roof to see if I can use the old water tank for carrots. It's not used any more but not sure how attached it is to pipework etc  . Shame to let such a good container go to waste!

Saw a chap on TV last night who grows hosta's saying that slugs don't like crawling over hair, so was wondering if the same goes for fur as I've got that by the bucket full. Will have to give it a try, and if nothing else it will keep the seedlings little roots warm :rotfl: .

Much better day yesterday foodwise. Didn't feel munchy and nothing in the house covered in cream, sugar or chocolate to taunt me. However the garlic ciabatta we had for tea was extra buttery  , no idea why but it as gorgious!

DD called in from work yesterday all weepy. She kept crying throughout the day but doesn't know why. Usual assortment of rude, aggressive patients to contend with, but yesterday felt she'd had enough. The joys, (not) of being a nurse  . At times like that I feel the urge to gather up all my chicks back in the nest and sit on them to protect them from the big cruel world out there. Cluck, cluck!!

Right, better get my act together and start watering the babes in their pots, then the washing up and then the experdition into the roof. Have a great weekend all. YOU ARE MARVELOUS and don't forget it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, well done to all the losers! action-smiley-033.gif(that sounded a bit rude, sorry!) My WI is Monday.

Yesterday was a bit disastrous as was out all day - had a full cooked breakfast out, then went to see Indiana Jones then Ironman - both fab - with a bunch of mates, had a cheese sarnie then later had dinner out - but only a small portion of spag bol. Far too many carbs there! Still not feeling great, pain in my stomach subsided but still a wee bit nagging, spoke to the dr and have an appointment on tuesday.
Anyway, it's date night tonight - woohoo! sport-smiley-001.gif So, will be out for a (non-alcoholic) drink later.

    Food today:
B - tea, 2 slices of buttered wholewheat toast & 2 scrambled eggs
    S - fruit
Early Dinner - carrot soup (made this morning, will get 2 or 3 portions out of that) then a prawn & avocado salad
Exercise - will be walking in/out of town, should take at least 90 minutes.

Hope you all enjoy the bank holiday! Jlynncsf.

PS Girlleastlikelyto - anything steamed or stir fried is good, chow mein ok but quite high in salt, don't have any curry or sweet and sour. The most important thing though is to enjoy it - even if you decide to have something "bad" just have some of it!

  • Morning everyone

Well, OH sabotaged my efforts last night by bringing veggie samosas in with him from a takeaway near his office - I ate threeicon11.gif.

Then this morning he made croissants from a tube of ready-made dough. I managed to only eat three of those (they're quite small) when normally I would eat five - so I'm quite pleased with myself about that.

Probably going to go out for a picnic and walk with kids later so will make sandwiches and take fruit.

Agapanthus, thanks for all the good advice. To be honest I've never been able to drink much water, I usually mix it with apple or orange juice just for flavour. Is that bad?

Also, I am vegan so my diet does have a lot of carbs. I will try your other tips though.

Sorry everyone, due to an almost family bereavement (a family who are more close to me than my own useless family), I have not been my usual self or been posting much.

My weight has stayed the same throughout May, which as it was also my birthday on the 19th is no great surprise.

I will be making an effort now, as dh is due home somewhere near the 9th of July and I would like him to see a difference from when he went away (mid March).

Oh, and if anyone is interested, I've just put Twink's hob nob recipe through the weightwatchers recipe builder. If you make 48 like I did, they're only 1 weightwatchers point each :T

p.s. congratulations to anyone who has managed to lose.

Good to have you back cranky and sorry you've been having a difficult time of it.

You've got it all to aim for then with OH coming home in a few weeks.. what a great incentive. ;)

Who can eat just one though LOL?

Got the bit between my teeth this morning and got a month's meal plans ready...well 5 weeks actually. Feel the need to be ultra organised so that my weight loss might improve under difficult circs. Ds is quite good when shopping, he has a keen eye for pennies, so doesn't find it a bind checking which is the good deal on stuff. I feel I'm doing my duty as a parent to make sure he's a thrifty shopper. He also likes input into what we are going to eat. That is good as well. I'd rather make what they want.

Got home and he went out and mowed the lawn. We asked him to do it a couple of times and now he regards it as 'his' job. Maybe I should introduce dd to the ironing board? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    We have company tonight.

Mum and Dad are staying next Sun -Wed and German friend Thurs- Mon. After that dh is away Wed - Sun, then the next week dd is away Fri-Tues.

In between all this dd has study leave and exams so I want to try and do us proper stuff for lunches. She is happy to eat healthily.

Today has been OK, not the best, but no snacking yet, although not stuck to the plan, took ds to starbucks in Borders for lunch as he very bravely helped me with the food shop for the month, I had a greek wrap. DS was disgusted with the price of food in there! He had chicken club s/w and enjoyed it, so must replicate at home. We shared (well I made sure he had the big ''half'' with most icing!) a piece of chocolate cake. I was good, didn't have a latte, but americano with skimmed milk on the side. Just vac'ed the whole kitchen, dining are and sitting area, but need to mop now. Having a cuppa first.
