  • Hello,
Please can I join your gang?? I'm brand new here and this seems like a really nice place to come and try to lose weight.

So far I have gone from 17 stone-ish at Christmas (I was too scared to stand on the scales so don't know exactly how heavy I got) to 15st 13 this morning; but I have been around this weight for a few weeks now and seem to have reached a plateau.

Any tips on how I can start shifting some more weight would be gratefully received.

    Thank you

hiya only girl in the house, this is a great place to get support on your weightloss, i am roughly the same weight as you but you have done great to come down to that from 17 stone, well done:T

only tips i have are to drink loads of water, have smaller portions and up your exercise, if you do that then you should see a difference in your weight

  • That's what I've been doing up to now. I stopped drinking alcohol in the week, cut down portion sizes and joined a gym. Although I suspect portion sizes have been creeping back up again.
  • Thanks Frogga

If someone could put the link up I would be grateful.

  • Thanks. I'll post what I've eaten today later - got to do the school run now - and then you can all kick me up the proverbial.
