Evening folks
well my meals changed a bit today.
- my "cream of broccoli soup" was in fact chicken n split pea-nomnomnom
- and instead of jackets, i made a lovely sauce with some of the courgette and various beans from the garden, garlic, peppers, broccoli, cauli, sweetcorn n peas and a dollop of cream cheese and wholegrain mustard-ooh and some chorizo (all that went in hubbies though
) and served it over some gnocci.....a bit of a concoction -but hubby loved it too :T and loads of veggies in there too :A :rotfl:
- Snacky wise i have had 2 pots of natural yog... but put a heaped teaspoon of a lovely strawberry, rhubarb, plum, cinnamon and clove compot thing i have mmmmmmm just enough to take the tart edge off the yog without being sickly:D
:rotfl: ...i will give it a go .... im sure with plenty of seasoning and stuff i will get it down my neck - I have read that it is sooooooo good for you and have quite a few recipes in my new book -so i will give it a bash
I am yet to have any dish with tofu in that i liked -but im going to give that another bash and see if i can come up with a way of making it edible
Well done on the losses folks...we are getting there :T
Right i hasd better get off and catch up on everything else..have a great night everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Pebbles, Beanielou and Marie - it's funny you should mention arnica because I got some in an SBC set off QVC a few months back and yesterday and today I have been putting it on and I do think it helps - it seems to have brought out the bruising and the swelling is definitely a bit better today.
After having lunch out I wasn't too hungry at tea time so just had two pieces of toast with my hm welsh rarebit stuff on - it is just dried milk powder, a splash of skimmed milk, low fat spread, grated cheese and seasoning melted together and spread on toast and grilled. It is yummy although I do know that it sounds horrible! For afters I just had a nectarine and a cup of tea.
Mrs M - gnocchi is one of my most favourite things to eat! I have it just with a simple tomato sauce on and baked in the oven sprinkled with a bit of grated parmesan - it's lovely!
Hope you all had a good evening.Jane
