    Evening all

Not been around again much this week. I have caught up with the last few days posts but as usual I am rubbish at remembering who has done what. So well done to all the losers and STS's, and commiserations to the gainers. I do remember that RS has a broken wrist - poor you hope you are coping Ok with one hand. I had mine in a sling for 4 weeks following an op and it was a nightmare getting dressed etc.

Anyway I've done quite well this week and it showed on the scale this morning. I lost 7lbs - yes you read correctly 7!! I was amazed and had to get on and off twice to be certain. It makes up for the 6 I put on a few weeks back. Just need to keep going like this week and I'll be in a fancy size 10 dress for Christmas - don't want much do I?? Especially considering I'm currently a 24/26.

Best of luck for the week everyone.
    Catch you soon, Kitty x

    Hello MRSMC

Thank you for your reply; I’ve been up most of the night as you can see from the time of my post, I've also been trying to write a response, having a mental block is not helping, but to answer your query on what food I like, I mostly eat vegetarian, which consist of the foods I mentioned on my other post, I do eat fish, and tried making fish pie, & fish cakes, but again that’s using potatoes, making pasta dishes, I use cheese, I use cheap processed cheese as I’m on a DMP (Debt management plan) which means I have very little money to spare, I’m going to leave it there for now, I need to rest, I’m sorry to burden you all with my issues, and will visit later, thanks to you all.

    Good Morning All,

Up early this morning ( 4.10am) as Tadpole 2 is off on his Year 6 day out to a theme park today, Lucky Duck :j

10past6 I'm certain the lovely ladies on here will sort you out you can rest assured. By posting you've just joined a really friendly, helpful, non-judgemental gang of food experts who'll soon find the answers. If you are feeling very down, just re-read RS's post about when she tripped over and that'll soon put a smile on your face :D Was I the only one who found that really funny and had a really good laugh at RS's expense?:rotfl: Oh right, I was then :o

Beanielou ~ sorry my post confused you :DI have a very childish sense of humour I'm affraid. What do I mean by I'm the only Frog? Well, I'm the only Frog, the others are Humans . Here is my original post for you to re read but you need to place your tongue firmly in your cheek first ;) .....................

One more thing I forgot to tell you (and then I'll shut up about it honest ;) ) was that I am the only Frog on the payroll. They asked me if I thought it would cause any problems and how I would deal with any Speciesism from the kids. I just said that I haven't encountered any problems before. I worked at the Library and dealt with students all day long and although I was the only Frog there it didn't cause any problems. I think in my Grandparents day things were different but nowadys people are much more accepting."

Get it? See, very childish I told you

Right, food for today will be

    B~Porridge and banana
S~Soya Yog and 6 prunes ( they really help with the little problem I had:o )
    L~Veg Chilli,jacket and stirfry
    S~Nectarine and 6 nuts
T~Seedy bread sarnine with houmous, watercress, spinach and rocket

Was very naughty this morning as I weighed myself again. I must stop it as I will get obsessed by it.

Oooooooooooo news on the treat frount. I bought a very small bad of Salted Peanuts as my treat. I ate them all up. Then I wanted some toast. I thought long and hard about it. I phoned RS, and after I stopped laughing at her predicament, she told me to make something she called "Granny Ola" or something (named after some old relative I reckon;) ) ~ oats, dried fruit and sugar grilled quickly, and I was gonna do that but I thought the sugar might send me after more and more so I didn't have any. Was Very pleased this morning that I had managed to have a treat but not go mad. Good job I didn't have the sugar though who knows where that would have ended.

Right hopping off to sort the Tadpoles out and clean the pond, have a good one everyone :D

    Morning all,

The start of a new week so have a good one everybody :)

At least this week should be a bit more normal for me, no-one visiting and we aren't going out anywhere apart from swimming tonight.

B: 2 multigrain toast with jam (no butter)
    L: HM veg soup
D: Jacket potato with tuna and salad, depending what time I get in I might just eat half of my tea before going swimming so I don't feel sick.
    S: Fruit and yoghurt

My aim for this week is to drink more water to flush out the salt from the weekend and improve my skin.

    morning all

What a grotty overcast day we have here today... so i will just have to park my bum on the sofa and x stitch...all those pretty colours will brighten the day :p -any excuse...

oooohhh must finish my meal plan today, i keep looking through that nutrition book i got back in the UK for recipes and getting distracted...thinking "hmmm never knew that" "oohh thats interesting" :D ..there are some lovely ideas in there ...just need to make a final plan....

    Food today:-
    • brekkie -just had 30g of meusli with fruit, seeds n nuts in -will probably have a nana in a bit
    • lunch - have taken a portion of HM cream of broccoli soup out of the freezer and will have a slice of super seedy bread with it
    • dinner - jacket potato with cottage cheese and lots of salad
    • snackies - fruit or yog oooh and my 25g of nut/fruit/seed mix
Hubby has tootled of to work with a flask of hm chicken n sweetcorn soup and some hm bread... i WILL make some space in the freezers -I WILL... forgot to take out a portion of the banana and coconut cake i made before i went away for him to take too  there are 14 pieces in there so that should last him a few weeks -won't give him a piece every day or he will get sick of it ;) . I think hubby gets paid on friday... but at the moment i can't squeeze one more thing in the freezers:p so im hoping to put most of the housekeeping in the bank ;)
RS.... hope you have the pain under control..ouch..

KITTY -well done on the super loss :T :j

10past6.... you aren't burdening us...heck we all need support -this weight loss malarky is hard enough and thats before life throws problems our way... I have needed more than my share of support n hugs from all the lovely folk on here just lately (and another thread too), so im sure there is plenty to go around ;) .
I will have a rummage and see if i can come up with any ideas..i have loads of cook books and quite a few are aimed at shopping on a budget:T

Wooohooo cheerfulness (just in case you are reading)... hope things are getting a little better for you and yours ;)

Ohhh i know what i wanted to ask...as we have lots of veggies on board.. do any of you eat Tempeh???? only i have read that it is one of the best foods for you... NOW i just need your considered opinion of what its like? :rotfl: I have quite a few recipes for it, and to be honest unless its really nasty i am willing to try and find some and "train" myself to like it ...but thought id ask you all before i go and try and find it:D

Right i had better get off and get on with my x stitch -still need to get mums xmas pressie finished. Then i need to find a mag with smaller charts in so i can start work on those things for the hospice -i gave all my mags away..typical ehh :rotfl:

right folks...have a great day and keep up the good work.. hugs to all those in need too, and hello to all those missing in action right now :p

Saversarn - twas me!!!! Godd stuff is Flexitol, I use it everyday now and my feet are beautiful (ish!!)

We had a really long walk yesterday but we also ate lots of cake - OOPS!

I'm back on track today but have decided not to WI until Friday, I can't find another SW class that I can get to so am going it alone to see how I get on, I'll miss being able to get on the website for syn values but I'll have to cope with that!

Boiled eggs and dry toast for brekkie, fruit for snacks, roasted veggies, couscous and balsamic dressing for lunch, SW quiche and SW chips and veggies for tea.
