Right I need to get my own butt into gear.
I have virtually no money - and 11 days till payday. And the reason for the lack of money - mainly from buying food that I want to eat:o
Have spent £6 on baguettes at work this month - that could easily have bought lots of part bake rolls from Aldi
Have bought quite a lot of fruit (which is healthy but I seem to like expensive fruit like white nectarines, grapes, strawberries - but all of these were on half price offer or else mrT £1 offer).
Have also bought too many snack bits - crisps, biscuits, extra cereals (cookie style one being a very tempting snack and eaten very quickly), angel delight, some chocolate here and there, etc etc.
So I have 11 days to be good from what I have in the cupboards and freezer
Food today:
Soaked oats, raisins, nana, and maple syrup (nearly gone so that should be sorted soon).
Snack - pack of crisps (again, only one pack left so not getting anymore of them except for the kids lunches).
Lunch - jacket and low fat cheese
Tea - moussaka (hm - took blinkin ages last night and is in the fridge so it'd BETTER taste good)working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hello everyone - :T Bobbadog and :T Chloebelle for losses and :T pebbles for a STS - I think am heading for a gain this week as I haven't been very good at all over the weekend. As Frogga said we have made a deal to be good until Christmas and then see where we are!
Frogga - enjoy the walk!
Marie - enjoy your lunch with SIL
The builder was meant to be here early this morning to start on DD2's room and my dining room (making built in units) but it is now 12.30 and no sign of him and he is apparantly out of phone contact  The house is all topsy turvy because I have moved all the furniture and stuff so he can start and I hate it when it is like that!
This morning I had Oatibix minis for breakfast - largely because I got them on BOGOF for the kids and they pronounced them to be "rank" so someone has to eat them. Actually they weren't that bad and my goodness they are extremely filling. I had a bowl with a banana on and skimmed milk and I was so full after them that I didn't even have room for a cup of tea - and I am still full now 4 hours later! I haven't even thought about food and can't really fancy anything for lunch, although I had probably better have something becuase otherwise I will get too hungry later and then overeat. I think I will have them again tomorrow and will buy some more if they are going to be this filling:j
I bought some Ryvita limbos - new sort of chipstick crisp things that they have brought out and they are the most disgusting things I have ever tasted in my life! They were £1.69 for 6 small packets (so not v. moneysaving) and they are only 62 calories a bag, but they are just vile! I couldn't eat them and neither could the kids, so I think I might have to put them out for the birds.
Well - I hope this builder turns up!
Newlywed - I know what you mean about having no money! I am really skint too and am trying to live on contents of freezer - it should be easy as I have loads in but I still seem to be going to the supermarket all the time.
Hope you are all having a good Monday.Jane

Back from my Walk and I really enjoyed it :j The sun was hot on my back and there was a breeze off of the sea. We stopped 1/2 way round and had our picnic which was a welcome break. I feel like I've really blown away the cobwebs and I feel much more energetic ~ I could do it all again
I've got sore feet though
Well done to the loosers and the STSers :T
I've worked out that 7st 5lb will be easily gone, it wont take any time at all you just wait and see. In fact I 'm now gonna nip upstairs and weigh myself to see if it's gone yet............................................................................................................................. oh !!!!!!Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

LOL! Frogga, you don't half make me laugh, you norty green thing you. Glad you enjoyed your walk
I ache. Srsly, I completely utterly ache. I did those renegade row things on Saturday and yesterday I woke up going OW! My whole stomach and ribs are aching from the workout. And they are still twanging today. Love it though, it means underneath the flab the muscles are working and you have to love that. Exercise for today will hopefully be 8k on a fatburn program on the cross trainer and then strength day tomorrow.
B = porridge and banana - I've been having scarmbled egg with ham and laffin coo cheese friangle on quinoa for my breakfast during the weekend and it filled me up like nothing else. Brilliant, but not very work friendly.
L = chicken and bacon sarnie, walkers square crisps and low fat cottage cheese with pineapple rolled up in 5 slices of honey roast ham. I am stuffed. Seriously. But once I start the ham and cottage thing I can't leave it alone.
D = I've got 800 calories left (I can eat 1700 a day on the program I am on at the minute) so still got loads for a huge dinner. And snacks. Yum.
I had two pints of beer yesterday and you know what? It was bloody gorgeous.
I am quite happy at the minute, hope everyone else is ok xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Hi all, I am back from my long weekend and feel like someone is dancing in my belly
I didn't overeat in terms of calorific value at all apart from yesterday but the type of foods I ate have played havok with me and I have shocking gastric reflux today.
Just a brief recap to give you an idea of what I mean by poor food:
Thur-D. Beef chilli and white rice (made with jar sauce and boil in the bag rice)
Fri- B. Crumpets, L. Nothing, D. 1/2 Frozen peperroni pizza
Sat- B. Nothing, L. McDonalds cheeseburger and fries, D. Boiled rice and curry sauce (from take away)
Sun- B. Nothing, L. Roast chicken dinner with frozen veg, D. Pizza hut pepperoni pizza and garlic bread
So today I have driven home and it has switched to this:
B: Nothing
L: Avocado wholemeal sandwich and small packet of crispsQuorn meatballs and wholewheat spaghetti and salad
I haven't eaten that much processed red meat in years and the saltiness of everything has really made me feel rotten. Thats always the problem though when you are under someone elses roof, you are at their culinary mercy and unfortunately, thats the way they eat all the time. And yes before anyone asks, they are all overweight. I also noticed that I was skipping meals to try and minimize the damage which is also a step backwards but hopefully I won't have put too much on, it is more likely to be water retention due to the salt so I will weigh in a s usual on Saturday with my fingers and toes crossed0 -
Afternoon ladies -sorry not to have any smilies in my posts...can't seem to get brothers PC to do them...pahhhh
Thought i would start dipping my toe back into the pool ready for getting home on Thursday morning
Yesterday i popped into Mansfield with mum (oooh the excitment at shops being open on a sunday)
I picked up 3 great books (which means we have loads more recipes to use folks):-- Victory cookbook -margurite patten -only £2.00
- the complete guide to nutritional health
- you are what you eat meal planner
First thing thursday im off to the doc to sort out if i need testing for the ovarian cancer... the one in her bowel was a secondary so still considered ovarian...
The you are what you eat book isn't as extreme as it used to be -there are more meat meals in there than before -but im going to cut mine down to an occasional bit of chicken i think... i struggle to digest red meat anyway..
well done ladies on the losses and chins up to those having a hard time...we will get there folks...
right i had better get off..have a great day folks..keep up the good work folks....-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Hello folks :hello:
I'm pooped  2 year olds are hard work
We've been swimming - well, 'ducklings' they call it, we had lunch in McD's - oops! Those vegi deli sandwich things are minging!
We went round the shops and granny bought a little jacket from M&S, bit smarter than a cardigan and only to keep the chill off in a morning and it was cheaper than some of their cardis!
Then we walked up to meet grandpa from work - quite a distance for a 2 year old but he walked nearly all of it:T
I've not had any tea yet, that bloomin' vegi thing is lying like a brick so I might not have anything.
Back to work tomorrow  so hopefully I'll get a bit more back on track.
Nice to 'see' you back MrsM
Frogga - I'm 5'6" and aiming for 10st7 initially. I would be happier at 10 stone but at my ancient age I think the extra few pounds are better for my face.
I'm toying with the idea of changing my SW class to a Tuesday, I'm not over keen on the leader at the class I go to and I can't stay to the talk 'cos of my dancing so I'll give it some thought:think:
