Woooohoooo, well done the Tadpoles!!!!
I did well yesterday. I decided what I was eating for meals and what I could have as snacks, and I more or less stuck to it (only one little slip up). Today is a "use up bits day", so doesn't really fit in with any eating plan, but it's the control over eating I am aiming for at the moment, not neccesarily fewer calories IYKWIM.
B : Soda bread toast with jam (no butter)
L : NOt sure yet, need to have a poke round in the freezer
D : 1/2 WW quiche with SW chips
snacks : strawberries (mid morning), potato cake (mid afternoon).
Cheerfulness, I'm glad to read that you have had some good days, and (((hugs))) to MrsM and anyone else that needs one.
Take care all of you0 -
I am frozen :snow_grin , have had to fish out winter woolies and looked longingly at thermal long johns but resisted telling myself "this is summer, Suz, so don't be such a wimp". If the central heating wasn't set at 16 degrees it would have been triggered by now  . There are times when I seriously miss my padding  , but then is we ever get a summer I would get too hot, can't please some people
.
Not been even trying to lose weight, as Frogga says, I'm on pause at present. Have reached the stage were I fit into size 14, and have some lovely clothes that fit now so don't know whether to stay where I am. Not sure whether my face and neck can take any more slack either  , at my age it doesn't shrink back like it use to, groan!!! Anyway who says you have to be under BMI 25 to be healthy anyway?????????? We all know the experts are never wrong  .
Thank you all for kind thoughts on our 'ancient one' especially saversarn. What a difference these past few days have made. She's eating like she hasn't done in ages, getting stroppy with her boys and actually ran past me on our walk yesterday instead of plodding on behind. At this rate I'll have to call her by her old nikname 'Mini the minx'. She's about the size of a border collie but looks like a German Shepherd and she's been a proper little madam in her time. The kids adore her and she's got the biggest doe eyes.
Well done the tadpoles :T :T , you have every reason the be glowing with pride Frogga, I would be. My DS2 is currently on a tank course (in the RAF) and I'm so proud of what he's achieved after being the teenager from hell.
RS please go for it girl, don't put your life on hold. I've got a sticker on the front of my car 'ONE LIFE - LIVE IT' and I've had so many total strangers come up and say how much they agree with it. The more you do the less food will dominate your thoughts, and the more positive you will feel.
Delighted to report there are RED tomatos in the greenhouse and pea pods on the peas in pots. The peas sown in the ground never appeared for the second year running so won't bother next year. Runners flowering like little troupers and the potatoes should be just about ready to start digging up :T . Meenwhile the strawberries and black currents just keep coming yum yum!
Think I'll go and do the washing up now, either that or wrap my hand round a hot water bottle. Somehow salad doesn't appeal for lunch. If I hadn't already made a ham bap when I made DD's butties it would be a nice hot bowl of soup. Heaven knows when I'll get it anyway as I have to check 'Mini's' urine sample midday and then go to DD's puppy to feed and play with him for a while. At least now he's fully vaccinated he can go out for a walk.
Have a great weekend folks. MRSM thinking about you (((hugs))) and Cheerfulness glad to hear you're having happy days.

Hi All,
Congratulations to your offspring, Frogga. Well done any losers this week. I am pleased to say I have lost 1lb bringing me to 10st 8lbs, which means I have lost my first stone. Hurray. My JIJ target is 5lbs Toni by the way.
I haven't been posting much this week but have been reading every day. Thanks for all the tips re the permanent marker on the whiteboard. I haven't actually been into school again, but am crossing my fingers that the whiteboard is now a pristine white again.
I haven't actually been counting calories this week, and yesterday succumbed to fish and chips and Coke so was surprised to have a weight loss, especially as its TOTM. Sometimes there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the lbs dropping off or staying the same.
I have been doing lots more knitting so maybe its that that is helping by keeping me out of the kitchen - where I usually spend most of my time. I even have my laptop on the kitchen table. I've finished the dressing up dolly and am now half way through a lady scarecrow to keep my second male scarecrow company. I think I shall have to try selling them at a car boot sale or something as I haven't anyone else to give them away to. As long as I cover the cost of the materials I shall be quite happy. I've bought a load of patterns from ebay and am also visiting my Mother and scrounging a few more tomorrow - plus more odds and ends of wool.
The other thing I have been busy with this week is helping OH to set up a rainwater collection system in the garden. We have a nice new rainbutt under a drainpipe and a makeshift filtration system set up. Not for drinking I hasten to add, but because he has just had a hydrogen converter fitted to his car. It still uses diesel but should cut the use by up to 40% which is a big saving. It feels really good topping the car up with free 'fuel' too - ie bottle of rainwater. We should have a good run tomorrow to test it out but he has already got the mpg up from around 43 to 53 and is hoping for up to 60mpg on it.
We have DS and fiancee coming for a meal tonight as we won't be in tomorrow so it will probably be a cheese and bacon pie for tea. I shall also indulge my love of baking and make them some goodies such as Millies cookies or scones.
Have a good weekend all,

So far so good to-day....had cheese, ham, salad sandwich for 'brunch' with coffee....soup in a while and haddock, peas, broad beans, spinach and new potatoes for dinner later.
Congratulations to Nix and Rose Wood on your losses....gee Rose a whole stone, good for you!
Can't wear flip flops they crucify me...never thought they might help with swelling feet though, so might invest in a pair to wear around the house to see if they help...left foot is always swollen unless I weigh less than 10 stone, which is not going to happen anytime soon I'm afraid.
Have a nice afternoon all

Suzi glad your hound is on the mend :j
Have been a bad Frog today , which is mind numbingly stupid as I didn't even want to! What a pratt I am. I found myself saying " Oo do I really have to eat this rubbish, I would rather eat my nice food" but no, I chomped my way through a load of carp even though I really didn't want it:rolleyes:
Have decieded that I am BACK ON TRACK TOMORROW and it's such a relief! Oh, phew I'm back on track tomorrow thank heavens I dont have to stuff anymore.
Gonna have another "Cleansing Day" tomorrow as it was really good when I did it before. I'll have no food just drinks, water, Cranberry juice and Black tea. It makes me feel MUCH better to give my poor old tummy a day off and then I can get back to sensible eating on monday.
I have planned a day out with a friend on Monday. We are going to Dunwich for a 6 mile walk which I really LOVEIt makes you feel all fit and healthy and glad to be alive
I'll take a packed lunch and plenty of water so that will really kick start me into being a good little frog again.
I have worked out it's 24 weeks til the new year. That's 6 months ish. We could ALL be where we want to be for the New Year if we pull our fingers out (of the pantry Frogga? ) SO what a good time to get back on track.
I took Tadpole 1 clothes shopping today. It really made me think. She is 5ft 2in size 8 with very long blond hair in natural ringlets. She is really beautiful and I became very aware that people look at her alot. I felt like a fat old frumpy Frog next to her and I was quite, no very, jelousThis afternoon she has gone through my wardrobe and pinched aload of clothes that I can no longer get into  How I would love to be swapping clothes with her and feeling as pretty and confident as she must. I WILL get there. It WONT take that long. I WILL be a yummy mummy. I WILL
Have a good evening all, any one joining me in the "Cleansing Day" tomorrow? RS is off to the shops to get some Cranberry Juice so she's gonna do it. Then we can all get rid of the Damm toad once and for all!Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hello everyone and well done to Rose and Nix for good losses:T :T
Cheerfulness - so glad that things seem to be improving.
Suzid - size 14 - that is fantastic!
I am joining frogga on a cleansing day tomorrow as I have eaten rubbish for the last couple of days and need to get back focussed. Have got juice and plenty of fruit in so will just have that. I haven't got any carp at all in the house so that is good too.
Mrs M - hope it went okay yesterday, thinking of you and looking forward to seeing you back posting next week. Take care and safe journey home.
Hope you are all having a good weekend. It is nice here today - not too hot, not too cold!Jane

Evening folks :hello:
Still got a bit of a dodgy head and I feel really tired but better than yesterday!
I've had a good day today, brekkie was boiled eggs and soldiers, lunch was SW chips and Branston soya beans in sweet chilli sauce (disapointing, they were like hard baked beans  )
I had a banana and a yoghurt this afternoon and have just had quorn sausage, mash, roasted beetroot and beetroot tops for my tea. I've got some cherries to have later.
I feel better for having stuck to plan today, I've not got much more to lose and would love to be at target for my birthday in September. The dinner dance that my dance class is having is that month and today I've seen some gorgeous dresses:D
I went for a wander round the shops and made a point of going in shops I wouldn't normally go in just to have a looksee, I was quite suprised that there are bargains to be had outside Primark and Matalan :rotfl:
See you tomorrow folks :A when hopefully the sun will be shiing and I won't be sat here wearing a fleece
