    Evening ladies

Thanks recovering spendaholic... the funeral was indeed a stunning tribute to sis... when our cars pulled into the carpark at the chaple they were jam packed -we thought there must be another funeral on its way out -until we turned the corner and it looked like a crowd queing for a footy match.. all there for sis...they ended up wedging as many in to the chapel as possible and then when they ran out of standing room they had to put the speakers on outside for everyone else...... always thought she was a super star -now we know she was.... It was a lovely tribute to her -even if we were all sobbing wrecks... i thought we were going to need canoes to get back out again because of all the tears -i have never felt such hurt in my life....although we did have a few laughs too with some of the things she used to get up to
as for the floral tributes...well i lost count at 65 -most of them HUGE like the ones only close family send.. so she got a good send off which she would have loved..followed by a few drinks back at a place she always used to go..

Anyway folks i will be back home and back to normal (well as normal as i get) first thing thursday morning...then i will get back into the swing of things -with ghusto.... have to keep my promise to sis and adjust my diet as much as possible to reduce the risk of getting hit by cancer myself... especially with it being ovarian that only had a 5% survival rate and then in her bowel -shouldn't have to make to many changes -but i am giving up what little red meat i eat, and swapping to all whole grains...will figure the rest out whilst im here so i can get off to a good start as soon as i get home..
Anyway i will get off now-have a great weekend everyone, well done on the losses and on having such clever tadpoles frogga
    take care all

    Evening folks,

Mrs MC...glad to hear that your sister's funeral was what she would have wanted...crying is good therapy and nothing to be ashamed of, lots of hugs to you and your family.

    Morning all

Was coming on to tell you about my week, but now feel a little chastened :o

Mrs Mc - I don't know what to say other than my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your post certainly made me rethink how bad my week was compared to yours. I hope the love your sister obviously inspired can be a comfort to you and an inspiration to us all. What a fitting tribute to have a chapel overflowing; may we all know a love like that!

    With much love, Kitty x

It sounds like your sister touched a great many peoples lives Mrs M - she must have been a wonderful person. Take it easy when you get back home.

Not feeling too optimistic about breaking past the 13 stone barrier at weigh-in tomorrow. Not binged this week but definitely been a bit more snacky and chocolates have found their way in. So we shall see how it affects the scales. Managed to turn down chinese last night though which is unheard of lol. Had half a bottle of wine though. :o

Forcing myself to post before I find it too easy to dissappear and not post again.

Feel very low. Then read MrsM post and it reminds me how short life is and "For Christ sake pull yourself together Frogga" has just jumped into my brain.

So although I want to cry and wallow in self pity , I wont. I WILL buck myself up because worse things happen at sea.

As you can tell by my moaning I have ALREADY failed at the cleansing day. I've noticed I'm very good at "Talking the Talk" :o Others on here just get on with it quietly and modestly loose the weight steadily. Some of us have to shout about it and then fail very publicly

I feel like poo. I really hate myself today. BUT, I'm gonna try VERY hard to stop it RIGHT NOW. Otherwise I 'll upset Mr Frog and the tadpoles with my mood and !!!! everyone off!

Going to have a cold shower to buck me up :D
