    Morning all,
welcome jorichste, and well done everyone who's lost lbs.

RS, what an amazing loss, wow. Sorry you're having such a rough time with anxiety.

Toni, thanks for doing the table. Pilates sounds interesting, have you done it long?

    Food for me today:
    B: mueseli
    L: ham & cheese toastie
D: veg soup & french stick
    S: fruit/veg/smoothies/few nuts

I've been fairly active lately, walking the dog a couple of hours a day, cycling 30 mins, but spend the rest of my time sat at a desk, so hope the balance shows on Monday:rolleyes: . Must get back into swimming too, cos I love it, but time is always so short....I think I'll make swimming 2x week a July target.

    Have a good day everyone

    Jay

jay pilates is fab. its similar to yoga but you don't hold positions for long (tbh yoga bores the hell out of me!!) the set i have is winsor pilates, includes this circle thingy and a DVD containing a 10min workout, 20 min workout and 50min aerobics thing. i did it for 2 weeks before my hols (only do either the 10 or 20 min one 3x a week) and lost 3.5lbs both weeks! My best losses ever so it must work. it really tones you up nicely, which is what i need. it looks easy but its actually really hard work - i get muscle ache in places i didn't know i had!

My parents have a pilates performer (exercise machine thingy). You start off with the video going yeah this is easy, how is it exercise - and then at the end you go - yeah ok then I blummin ache :p

I'm interested in the whole fitflop idea thingy - how do they work then? Is it like those trainers with the rounded bottoms so you can never actually stand still? Do you have to wear them all day to notice any difference?

Well done RS and all you other good losers! I'm hoping to STS this week, but to have lost 3 pounds by next weeks weigh in - am carrying a lot of water and I drank too much last weekend, so need to make up for that.

My food is a bit backwards again today:

B: 1 slice Kingsmill 50, smidgen of chutney (no marg) and 2 slices of ham
S: passion fruit (big yellow Grenadilla one)
L: 2 Weetabix w/ skimmed milk, nectarine, yoghurt, small pot of broad beans
    S: apple
    D: meatballs & spaghetti

Still feel a bit poorly, so not exerted myself on the rebounder - is all I can do to go to work!

    xx

    Well done RS !!!

I'm seriously impressed. I hope you're pleased with yourself, you should be.

I'm drinking lots of water as it's all I'm allowed. I have cammomile tea at work, so I will buy some for home later. No chocolate, fizzy pop, coffee, caffeine or alcohol,:( .

Massive well done to Recovering Spendaholic. Fantastic result! I'm doing the SW diet too & it really is great. I have only used 2-3 syns each day so far as I've been so full & satisfied that I honestly haven't felt like my usual snacks of biscuits & toast.

I'm feeling a lot more energetic & in control of my eating, its early days but I think I may finally be on my way to steady loss rather than yo-yoing the same few pounds every week.

    Food today:

    B - Shredded wheat & semi skimmed. 3 satsumas

    L - baked potato & tuna

    D - quorn bolognaise & pasta

Snacks - strawberries to finish, try & stick to fruit

Treat - Options hot choc tonight.

    Have a great day everyone
