Morning all! I stuck to plan yesterday, had salmon and wholewheat pasta with 1 tsp of pesto for dinner. Had 80 spare calories left, so had a Fab ice lolly (79 cals, but mainly natural - minus the sugar sprinkles!)
My throat is a bit better today, but feel headachey and a bit flu-ey, so am going to fill up on good stuff.... note, I've kinda swopped lunch and brekkie around today, i'm not going mental!
B: 1 slice bread ham sandwhich, no marg but chutney AND 2 fat free crackers w/ smidgen of reduced cal peanut butter
S: handful of red grapes
L: 2 Weetabix w/ skimmed milk, nectarine, pot of broad beans (!)
S: applechicken breast grilled with chinese 5 spice, rice and veggies
I didn't do any jogging on my rebounder this morning, as OH had me stitching up his rucksack and then sewing a random patch on it!! Time consuming!
Have a lovely day everyone!0 -
Morning all
Is it me or is there a really positive vibe on here this morning? It feels as though everyone's raring to go for July. 50lbs between the whole board?? I reckon we can beat that easily this month;)
Toni - I posted my challenge yesterday, but if you missed it, it's 8lbs.
Big Woohoos to Beanilou, EmptyPurse and Heavenfire:T And of course to MrsM (we're all still thinking of you).
Frogga - I've got some digital scales and they're rubbish. I can get on them three times in a row and get three different readings. Don't waste your money.
I was V. good with food yesterday, stuck exactly to my plan. My risotto was made with peas and baby turnips from my little veg patch outside so that made it extra yummy.
Food today
B - Scrambled tofu and mushrooms on toast
L - Rice salad (cold leftover risotto with lettuce:rolleyes: )
D - Lasagne.
Maybe a ickle bit of choc cake.
Have a great day everyone. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.0 -
Hi all, what a fabulous day it is today
Well my shoulders are a bit sore after yesterdays swimming but I expected it as its so long since I did anything remotely close to being exercise:p
I would like to set a more realistic JIJ target of 5lbs
I will be busy in work today so no time for picking so at least I should be OK with sticking to plan.
B: Porridge made with semi skimmed and water
L: HM veg soup and a bananaVeggie burger in small brown roll, wedges made with spuds from FIL allotment and HM coleslaw made with kohlrabi also from FIL allotment
S: Might have a skinny latte later if I have time
Have a great week everyone :T0 -
My target for July is 3lb weight loss. That doesn't sound much, but that will be more than I have ever lost in a month!! Breaking and staying below the 11 stone mark has alluded me for 10 years.
Starting at 11 stone 1lb. Goal to drop a dress size by end of October. 4 months at 3lb a month.
Here goes.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Hi everyone
Toniwoty - please put me down for 9lb loss this July. I'm sure once I've got beyond this plateau I'll be back on track!
Food optimising in suiting me really well so far. I didn't have any naughty snacks or treats yesterday, only used 3 syns for a hot choc in the evening. Think that getting a bit of perspective has helped.
Food today:
B - shredded wheat & semi skimmed
L - chicken double decker sandwich, fruit & yog
D - chicken with chunky spicy tomato sauce, broccoli & mushrooms. If really hungry, a small jacket potato as well
Snacks/treats - strawberries & yoghurt, an options hot choc
Glad to see the positive vibe on the board. I also feel really good so lets all smash our July targets. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -

As it's the 1st of July decided it was a good day to join the thread. I've been reading on and off for the last couple of months but couldn't make myself commit
I was going to SW but can't see the point in paying £4.50 each week and not following the plan!
So now I am going to Boots on Sunday morning and weighing there for 50p. I know I could do it at home but my scales are awful and theirs give height, BMI and body fat %, so lots more info. I have discovered I am no longer 5'7" - I am 5'6.1". How can you lose an inch???It also means my BMI is higher than I thought at 43......... Still it's taken me 40 years to get to this size so I can spend the next one reversing the trend. I am aiming for 10lbs loss in July, however I have a birthday this week and several nights out with friends to get through. I don't drink very often and my girlie night out every few weeks is my one excuse to hit the wine
Not expecting a loss this week so won't be disappointed if the scales don't move on Sunday.
I am considering a 2 day juice fast over next weekend to help cleanse some of the alcohol and food toxins I intend to consume up to Friday. I've been looking it up on line and looks quite easy - having done Lighterlife for 3 months, 2 days of yummy juices should be a doddle
Good luck for your WIs this week, Kitty:xmastree:Merry Christmas0 -
Hello everyone and welcome Kitty and any other newbies I may have missed. Frogga - glad you're back on the wagon.
I was in Tescos before and when I was driving home I got the real urge to get some rubbish to eat, but I resisted and just had 2 plums out of the shopping bag on the seat next to me.
I weigh in tomorrow, so hope that I see a loss because I have been really good for the whole week and haven't overeaten once!
Toniwoty - My Target for July is 10lbs
I don't want to be too ambitious as that has always been my downfall.
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine - it is really nice here today!Jane

Hello you lovely peeps and welcome Kitty :hello: .
Have DH on hols this week and today he's leveling the kitchen floor (should have been done 10yrs ago when it was extended) and not a happy bunny so I've headed for cover to read the posts. We currently have the big 6x3ft pine kitchen table in the middle of the top end. The positive side is that I can now sit on the table to dry the dishes.:rotfl: :rotfl: Daren't mention the new taps he's got to fit as he hates plumbing  but insists on doing everything himself.
Happy to say I've lost 1lb so that brings my June total to 4lbs, yay :j . It aint been easy this month so will aim for a 3lb target for July. Fighting my way tooth and claw to my overall target. This really is the hardest bit especially with all the gorgious strawberries begging to be covered in cream :rotfl: . This week I bought them some half fat creme fraiche instead of thinking I could only put a little cream on them, who was I kidding!!!!!!
Great big :T :T :T 's to Tadpole 1 and Miss RS what fantastic achievments. Congratulations to you wonderful losers too, you are doing brilliantly, well done.
Have a great day folks.
