Floyd - hope the swimming was a success. I started going a couple of months ago and really enjoy it.... always end up famished after though so have to make sure tea's already planned and cookable in 5 minutes flat!

Thanks, it was fab, did 20 lengths and my arms are wrecked! I had a light tea early and just ate a small wholemeal roll and some strawberries to make sure I don't wake up ravenous. I will definately go again, the ol bingo wings feel tighter already :rotfl:

    Hello!

Got back from London on Sunday but haven't had time to post until now - sorry to hear about your dog saversarn, (((hugs))) to you and anyone else that needs them.

Bon Jovi were AMAZING and I managed to be pretty good food wise all weekend. Its a 4 1/2 hour journey in the car to London and that used to mean a junk food fest for me. This time I took a bag of grapes, four bananas, two apples and two lots of quorn sausage sarnies with rocket and tomato chutney - yum yum.:D Ate half on the way there, then put the rest in the fridge when I got there and ate it on the way home. So I don't think this weekend will have done any damage but I'm not expecting a huge loss on the scales on Friday because I haven't had the time or the energy to run this week - we're in the last three weeks of term now and I'm totally frazzled!

Anyway, I'd better get ready for work, see you later!:j

Well Done Spammy, it just goes to show, people can enjoy events without being a pig  Take note Frogga !

Right, just hopped on the scales and the damage is quite bad. In total since I was 16st 12lb I put on 9lb so I'm now up to 17st 7lb :o Woops :D Still, onwars and upward my friends :T

Really gonna pull myself together today. To start with , now I'm not dashing off to work I'm gonna bike Tadpole 2 to school and then bike home the long way round. Then I'll take the hounds out too so that will start things moving ;)

I plan on having a "Cleansing" day today with no food. I feel very "Blegh" and full of carp at the mo so I would like to flush it all out. Got lots of fruit juice to drink and lots of blkack tea and lemon tea. It will be tough but it is only for one day and I really think it will help the kick start.

I think alot of the weight must by sheer volume of food so it will come off again quickly ~ I hope anyway

My Target for JIJ is to be 15 something. I know it looks like a lot but like I say I think alot will come off quickly in the first week as I've been such a piggy recently. Also there are 5 WD's in July so that'll help.

Would like some electroninc scales as my ones wobble but I guess that is an expense I can do without. You can see if you've lost or not on mine I just have to stop hopping on and off 20 times willing it to change

Righ, possitive thoughts from this little Frog today, it's only one day, one day at a time til I get back into the swing of things ;)

Hi, I'm ready to get back into the swing of things too.

Put on 3½ lbs during my "pause" :o although it is also TOTM. So my goal for July is to get rid of that 3½ and get back to maintaining ;)

frogga be a bit careful though if you're gonna do all that exercise on no food at all - don't want you feeling all dizzy and ill - that wouldn't be a positive start now would it? ;)

Food today: soaked oats and cherries
Snack - rice cakes and an apple
    Lunch - jacket and beans
Tea - boiled gammon and veg.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

    Morning all!

My target for July is to lose 4lbs and get back to my target weight again, not much to lose but its harder when you havent got far to go! weigh in tomorrow for me, apart from the meal out last night Ive been reasonably good this week so am hoping to lose a pound.

    Anyone heard from MRSM?

Frogga - hope your 'cleansing' day goes well! - couldn't do it myself as my body protests if it doesn't get regular top ups:D

    Food plans

B - 2 weetabix with added raisins and seeds with skimmed milk.

S - cake at the WI with Mum and sis;) :D

L - jacket spud with cottage cheese and salad

D - quorn sausages with roasted butternut squash and sweet spud with a bit of mash possibly.

snacks - banana and HM yoghurt and strawberries.

    Morning:D

Hope everyone's well, and problems are slowly settling down...

Frogga, a cleansing day sounds like a good plan, I do the same with smoothies..been buying them on offer recently, so the 'busy' excuse doesn't work. They're yummy and keep me full for hours, so that helps...I'm getting wise to my sneaky excuses to avoid losing weight, lol:rotfl:

Toni, can you put me down for a JIJULY target of 5 lbs, thanks...it'll bring me down to 12 1/2 stone, and my BMI to under 33...so here's hoping.
Bad luck on sts, better luck next week.

Floyd, swimmings fab isn't it, I go a fair bit and it seems to have kept me from getting bingo wings, cos I don't have any, lol

Droopydrawers, STS...I agree it could be worse, at least you havent lost hard-won weight loss ground, horrible when the scales go up, isn't it, thank-you for the well-done:A

Lemonade I go up 2-4 lbs at TOTM, so 1lb sounds ok to me:D

Saversarn, so near to a BMI of 24...wow, well done you!

I've tried a free online weight/cal/exercise thingy the last 2 days (cos I was eating too little, and wanted to make sure I ate 1500 cals/day--I'm a person of extremes, lol), and last night, after 3 good meals (about 15-1700 cals) and lots of dog-walking, it told me I 'could' eat 500 cals more. well of course I had to have a beer, 2 pkts crisps, and a hefty sandwich....first cravings I've had all month:mad: . So no more online cal thingy!!:o :o I'll just stick to 3 decent meals, plus fruit/nut/veg snacks:rolleyes:

    Food today:

    B mueseli

    L prawn sarnie & salad

D salmon, new pots, and salad

Snacks: smoothies, few nuts, raw veg

    Have a lovely day everyone,

    Jay
    Anytime;)
