Welcome Kitty :j It's a nice gang on here
Had a nice day being lazyI haven't eaten anything so the "flush" is going well. I wont do it again, perhaps once a year after Xmas or something to get rid of the toxins. I know your body does that by itself but these are psychological toxins not real ones
Felt a bit "wobbly" at 2.30 so had more drink and now I feel really good. I decieded that if I felt really rough I would eat something light like a peice of fruit and some nuts but I feel fine now.
Have made an agreement to meet up with two pals from work in the Oct half term so it would be great to be able to be slim enough for them to notice a big difference by then :j
Tomorrows menu will be back to normal I promise.
Tadpole 1 has her performance of CATS tonight so looking forward to seeing all the ears and tails on the right people. They did come out well if I do say so myself
I think we were pretty rubbish last month, with one or two exceptions, so we must all make more of an effort this month starting with me so I'll lead from the frontSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Cheers tappy :T I'm getting quite nervous about tonights performance actually. Not because I doubt Tadpoles ability or because I think she will get stage fright, but because it's CATS, and there are HUNDREDS ( well 84) of kids dancing round dressed up like the enemy  It's quite unnerving you know
Tadpole 1 just said thanks xxxxxxxxxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Good afternoon all,
I'd like to have a July target too, if I may. I weighed myself this morning and was 14-12.5lbs, which is 2lbs more than last Friday! I would like to lose 7.5 lbs in July.
More would be fabulous, but 7.5lbs would be good. I have been to the doctor today, and the trouble that I have had swallowing yesterday and today is being caused by acid reflux (I've had it since I was small), so I am going to be eating bland foods and doing without alcohol for a few weeks. I have some antacids and antibiotics to take too, oh joy!0 -
I have discovered I am no longer 5'7" - I am 5'6.1". How can you lose an inch???
KITTY, I don't want to seem alarmist, but if you really think you've lost height you should visit your GP and get him/her to check you for possible osteoporosis - it's one of the first obvious symptoms. You don't necessarily have to be post-menopausal, for it to start, either. If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0 -

Ooooh, good to see everyone raring to get stuck into a wobble busting July, myself included.... Toni can you put my target as 4lb please.
Couldn't believe we only shifted a piddly 5lb between us last week.... well actually I can, especially as I contributed absolutely ZILCH to that 5lb!!:o
We can do better than that can't we girls, let's go for it!
Well done on the loss Suzi:T.
Welcome Kitty:hello:, hope you enjoy all your birthday celebrations!
Good luck this week everyone!0 -
Hello everyone - good luck to Tadpole 1, although she will probably be on stage by now!
Still no news from Mrs M? If you're reading this I hope everything is okay.
I have had a good food day today and am nervous about WI tomorrow because I always want to lose loads and loads in my first week and get disheartened if I don't so I will just have to make sure that I don't get all annoyed with myself if I don't have a big loss.
I am getting a new carpet fitted in the lounge this week and that always makes me all anxious - the getting the furniture moved and putting it back etc. and then this morning they came and were about to lay the wrong carpet. They insisted that it was what I ordered but it was yellow and the one I ordered was a damask colour:mad:
Anyway it didn't throw me off food wise - today I have had:
Breakfast - 2 weetabix with banana and skimmed milk
Snack - 2 plums and a little poly pack of melon and pineapple that I bought in Tesco.
Lunch - grilled gammon steak, a low fat sausage, grilled tomatoes and slice of wholemeal dry toast
Dinner - cold roast chicken, slice of ham, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, hard boiled egg and 4 ryvitas with low fat spread, a Weight Watchers Yogurt.
My anxiety is really bad at the moment. I seem to be getting waves of panic and it really makes me scared. I took DD2 to her swimming lesson before and couldn't go into the gallery to watch her - it was all I could do to walk back to the car I got in such a state. It's all because of my heart thing - I never know when I am going to get an episode of atrial fibrillation and when I do I get sooooo panicky that even when I am okay I am terrified it is going to kick off. I know that my heart can be fixed surgically but I need to lose my weight before they will do it and that adds to the pressure. Also, I am often on my own here with DD2 (DD1 stays at her boyfriend's house a couple of nights a week and is out every evening) and I get scared that something is going to happen and there will be no-one to look after her and I don't want her coming in the ambulance with me when I go to hospital because she will be frightened. Ex OH is only contactable by mobile phone (won't tell us where he lives) and he never answers his phone, and I don't have any other family who I can call. It is such a big mess and I am aware that I am rambling on so I had better shut up - sorry.Jane

Morning Peeps,
The CATS performance last night was really good, they did very well. It was nice to see all the ears and tails I made on the right people.
Good Luck for the Weigh in RS.. I guess it might be less than usual BUT SW is a very good way to loose and you know it will stay off. I bet you havent been hungry this last week, and I bet it hasn't been that hard to stick to? You could have gone on one of our many crash attempts and loose loads, and then next week it will all be back on again wont it? This is the right way, so stick to it matey.
As for the panic thingy I think perhaps you could talk to DD2 about what would happen if it does happen IYKWIMBe prepared, play it down and just give her instructions to follow. I have an "emergency Plan" that the tadpoles are aware ofjust in case something should go wrong in life. It might sound potty, but it's ressuring to know that should anything go wrong they'll know what to do. You've got my number, it might take me 5~6 hours to get to Liverpool but I'd come
Glad I got through the whole cleansing day yesterday ok :T I do feel better for it I can tell you. Back to healthy eating today starting with my porridgeIt's nice to knw what I'm eating today as I feel much more in control and really glad to be back o track.
Have a good day everyone, good luck RS , what time is the WI?Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D
