    Hi all!

I've lost 1 pound this week, hurrah! was aiming for 2, but nevermind - slow and steady wins the race? Or gets there eventually, perhaps...

Today will be a bit of an odd one... but will manage it as best I can.

B: 1 slice toast with few plum tomatoes
    S: handful of cashews
L: pub. No idea. Probably soup or chicken salad.
S: 2 dry fat free crackers, nectarine
D: at a party, in a pub... am thinking maybe just a packet of crisps!

Could be relatively disastarous - will have to do extra exercise this weekend - did 15 mins jogging on rebounder this morning :) xx

    Hi All

Not been posting for a couple of days as I seem to have been busy, including helping DS buy his wedding suit and visiting MIL. It's also involved extra eating including fish and chips and Coke last night so it is hardly surprising that I've put 1lb back on and am again 10st 10lbs, thus failing miserably with the JIJ challenge. So Toni, I'm afraid it is a GAIN this week!!

I've got the knitting needles out again and am planning lots of walks so hopefully I will do a bit better in July. I've only another 4 months to the wedding so need to improve the rate I'm losing or I'll be very disappointed.

Well done everyone who has lost or STS this week.

    Rose

PS Forgot to say I did buy a new outfit of cropped jeans and rugby shirt style t-shirt with pink stripes on Wed in a size 12 which fits beautifully so not all is bad this week.

Can I join? Am looking to shift the last 10 lbs of baby weight (after 2 boys). Which is proving VERY stubborn. I know it's not loads but it seems to be going nowhere. I do suspect I need to get off my lazy backside a bit more.....That's the worst bit about having a job that plonks you in front of a computer 3 days a week....

Anyway, can I put myself down for 10lbs loss? Not sure how to go about this so if you kind people could let me know I would be most grateful.....:-)

Can I echo BabyMother's post. I need to lose a stone of baby weight and my baby son is now 10 years old!!

A lovely Autograph jacket and dress that I bought on ebay for a few pounds, has just arrived and its absolutely gorgeous, only problem is i'm not....... yet!

It's for a special occasion at end of July, so the motivation is there for me to drop a dress size. I'm going for it.

    Thanks.

Ages ago I read about a website where you can put in your weight, vital stats etc and it comes up with a picture of a person that looks just like you. Then you can do the same thing but putting in your ideal weight to see what you'd look like if you lost a few pounds. I can't remember for the life of me what it was called though. Has anyone else heard of it or am I going mad?

    Hi all :hello: ,

Feels like its been years since I posted, but I have been keeping up with you all, there's no escape!!

MRSM heartfelt ((((hugs)))) coming your way and to saversarn. We sadly lost one of our next door neighbours last night. It was expected but came suddenly at the end for which his wife was thankful, no more suffering.

Frogga you should be the happiest frog in the pond with such fantastic work mates, hope you have a great day today. Enjoy every mouthfull oh green one and then when you press the play button on monday have no regrets just happy memories :T :T .

Well done you fantastic losers :j :T . It will be a miracle if I've lost anything at all next week because I had a real fruit fest on wednesday. Silly me bought some cream to go on our first strawberries (they are gorgious). The large bowl of them plus blueberries and raspberries covered in the cream was wonderful (followed by a gooseberry fool) Then repeated the next day :o:o . Believe me it could have been alot worse.

The weather has been bloomin' awful the past couple of days. No dog walks yesterday as it threw it down all day causing flooding in some parts. The pond is almost overflowing and most tadpoles have back legs now. Even saw a newt in there on Monday and some 'alien' looking things which I think are either damsel or dragonfly young. There was a beautiful damsel fly hovering around. It had a greeny blue body, then a long black part with a vivid pale blue end. Looked like it had been dipped in a paintpot. Move over Bill Oddie, I'm coming through :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Toni so glad to hear your Dad's home. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and does as he's told, after all he has a very important appointment in Sept 09 :D .

Welcome Scrooge2008 and BabyMother, I know the feeling, my baby is 18yrs this year and I still haven't got back to pre pregnancy weight!
I think I've probably bored you all enough for one day so I'll sign off and go and prepare tonights tea. Bean and veg casserole, yum, only problem is I forgot to get more bay leaves so will have to improvise :D . Have a good evening all.

I think it may be My Virtual Model? http://www.mvm.com
You can edit the model and even put your own face on it - then you can put clothes on her!
There is also a Weight Loss tab where you can put the before and after 'you'

What a day it's been. We had such a lovely time at my "Garden Party leaving do"
such larks and laughs ,I shall miss them all so. The weather was glorious and the food went down a treat. Just finished clearing up and putting things away.

Tonight Tadpole 1 is in a Drama comp at school. She is doing a comedy with 3 friends that she wrote so is up for best Actor and best writer. She is very excited and thrilled that she got as far as the finals. This is the equivalent "x factor" final you know ;) only more important. It's on from 7 ~10 then the judges say who's won. Let you know later how she gets on.

Hope you are all ok, post again later xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    PS Welcome the newbys :T

  • Hello everyone - just had a quick speed read of the thread - well done to all the losers and STSers. Frogga - 10lbs will soon some off - most of it will be fluid so once you are back at it on Monday that will soon go. your garden party leaving do sounds wonderful and good luck to Tadpole 1 for tonight!

Has anyone heard from Mrs M? Hope you are coping and thinking of you...

Rosewood - your new outfit sounds lovely - size 12 is a distant dream for me I'm afraid....

Welcome to the newbies - my youngest DD is 10 now and I have still to lose the baby weight!

Toni - glad to hear that your Dad's home.

:hello: Superspam - was only in for a day with my heart this time - AF lasted about 4 - 5 hours. They said I had a urine infection, which I thought might be the case, and infection always seems to set it off. Have got some antibiotics and have been having cranberry tablets.

Purpleivy and Cheerfulness - are you both okay? Haven't seen you around for a while.

Saversarn - hope you are okay and not too upset.

Cranky :hello: from this side of the water!

Rockie and Taplady - I am doing well with the SW online so far. I love the variety of stuff and have DD1 doing it with me (and DD2 as well but she doesn't know it and has some extras). The only thing is that the online site hasn't got as much info on free stuff - you have to go through syns online. Today I have had:

Breakfast - slice of ham, banana
    Snack - grapes
Lunch - hm veg and chicken soup made with chicken bovril for stock, hm boiled ham with 2 laughing Cow light triangles on 2 slices hi fibre wholemeal bread
    Snack - a plum
Dinner - roast chicken, sprouts, bit of thin gravy (syns), sugar snap peas

i am doing alternate green and original days and will see how I get on in my first weigh in next Wednesday.

Hello to anyone I have missed out - OGITH, Bobbadog, Scrooge, Babymother, Jay and anyone else.
