Hello everyone - haven't been at the computer for a good few days - it was DD1's 18th birthday over the weekend and then on Monday I had to go to hospital with my heart (AF - palpitations) so it has been all go. They only kept me in for one day so it wasn't too bad, and I had remembered to take a book with me for once!
Have just caught up with the posts. Mrs M - I don't suppose that you are reading this but I am thinking about you and your poor sister and all your family - there really aren't any words at a time like this.
Toni - hope your Dad is okay.
Saversarn - sorry to hear about your dog. Our dog, a little black scottie, is 12 now and he really gets on my nerves sometimes because he has become a bit cantankerous as he has got older and he also wanders off. However he was really poorly last year with a bad ear infection and I was a total wreck - took him up to the emergency vet twice in a total panic as I thought he was on his last legs and I couldn't believe how upset I was.
Food has been totally rubbish for the last week and I didn't get weighed on Friday. I joined the online Slimming World (body Optimise) tonight because I had a voucher and it was no joining fee and I am going to give it a try for a few weeks, still doing it OS - making from scratch and all that, but following the general red and green guidelines.
:T Congratulations to all the losers and STSers and commiserations to the gainers.
Frogga - enjoy your pause - how far you have come - it's brilliant to hear that you are so positive and focused where once you would have been wallowing in binge food by now!:TJane

I feel bleeeuuuurgghhhh this morning, I'll not bore you with the details but chocolate and ice cream were involved:o It's worse today as it's my day on the bus so I had to leave home at stupid o clock and suffer the bloke behind me breathing last nights stale beer and curry fumes all over me:mad: I did have a 25 min walk though, I couldn't face the second bus:rolleyes:

Hi guys,
Have had a rotten couple of days & diet has gone to pot a bit. Have also been invited out to dinner tomorrow so tp be honest have written off this week a bit & am going to start afresh on monday. Am going back to basics & am going to start follow food optimising. I've always done it a bit half-heartedly but have made the effort to read the book through & am going to start properly on monday.
Am also going to join the gym which scares me but I think could be good. I hate being hot & am struggling to exercise right now as it is so humid right now. A nice air conditioned gym could be what I need! Also shelling out the money should encourage me, I can just about afford it but I won't want to see my money go to waste.
Can someone let me know what our July challenge is going to be? With a revamped diet & exercise routine, I am determined to hit target next month! Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0
