    Morning All,

Hope everything went ok with the flight MrsM, thinking of you matey (((((((HUGS))))))))

Not been good with the food this week :o It's my last week at work and everyones bringing in food and my friend took me out for lunch yesterday as it was our last day together and so I stuffed ;) also got a party on Thurs and everyones comming round here on Fri for a goodbye lunch and we're having takaway in the evening. Mr Frog's family are having a get together on Sun so I think I will just try to not go mad but enjoy myself.

I've done so well I'm not gonna fall off the wagon completely, but I am gonna eat and then get back on again on Monday. Then I'll have 9 weeks off and start my new job Sept 1st :D

Some people on here have real probs at the mo and if I eat a bit too much in the next couple of days it wont be the end of the world. Will really need to get back on the wagon on Mon though before I go too far ;)

    Have a good day all

Frogga, I think its always hard to say goodbye to old friends/routines even when you know it's the right thing to do. Enjoy your parties.

Morning ladies :grouphug: :grouphug: I think we all need a hug at the moment.

Toni - hope your Dad gets home today.
Frogga - just 'go with the flow' this week, it's an emotional time leaving friends and starting a new job but back on the wagon on Monday :naughty: 9 weeks! You'll have
disappeared by then;) Realistically you could lose quite a lot in that time and show your new friends a fantastic figure :D

I'm fed up at the moment, we go away on Monday (camping  ) OH is working until Sunday night so guess who's organising everything:think: When we get back I need the dentist for a broken tooth, my glasses check up is due and yesterday I got a reminder for my blood pressure check  so it's tighten the belt time again

I'm going to ring my SW leader and take 2 holiday weeks (I might not go back), I will have gained this week I know so it seems daft to spend the money, I'll still go to dancing though:dance:
I'll try again today, yesterday was a bad say at work and at home :o

I've had boiled eggs for brekkie and I have egg, potato and cottage cheese salad for lunch. Yesterdays fruit is still in the fridge so I'll have that later, tea will be the quorn sausage we didn't have last night with mash and veg.

Have a good day folks :A

    Well done Beanilou :T :T :T

We were married for 10 years before she accepted OH and then only because she HAD to (long story) but in the end she thought he was wonderful! (I knew she didn't alays know best;) )

Yeah my SIL wasn't accepted till she had the first grandchild - there's no way I'm going for that option :rotfl: They have enough of them now anyway ;)

Thanks frogga - like the poem ;) Hope the last few days of work go ok. I remember when I left one firm after 11 years  I was soooo worried that I wouldn't find new mates at the new place etc - and I was sooo stupid to think that ;) And as for the job I left - I still can't believe I stayed there that long :o

OH has decided he doesn't want to go to the meal anyway as he doesn't see why he should pretend to be polite to someone who hasn't shown any interest in us and wouldn't even come to our wedding. :o

So there's biscuits in me desk, cherries and choc in the fridge and I'll probably start again on Monday with you frogga if that's ok? ;)

Hi Newlywed ~ I'm not "starting Again" on Monday, I've meerly pushed the "pause" button and I'll push "play" again on Monday. I CANT "start Again" again  It would kill me :o So if you want to push pause with me and then we'll resume play on monday together that would be great :D

I'm sure you know the old story about Mr Frog's family and my family not getting on. Now, 20 years later, Mr Frog is the best thing since UV Filters on your pond ;) I hope it does all work out because it's hard when families don't get on and you can do without the stress I'm sure.

    Hi all!

Thinking of you, Mrs M! Frogga - you make sure you enjoy your weekend! Newlywed - enjoy those cherries! Blooming delicious, cherries!

Stuck to plan yesterday - had HM pizza for dinner, split the quantities for one base between 2 pizzas and had minimal cheese and ham on mine (pepperoni and cheese fest for OH!). Fab ice lolly for desert (79 cals, but was still 46 under my aim for the day).

    Today:
(did 15 mins jogging on rebounder this morning)
B: 1 x Weetabix w/ semi skimmed (would have had 2, but have ran out)
    S: strawberries and grapes
L: going to Starbucks for lunch meeting, but will have juice and fruit. Small ham roll from home and yoghurt.
D: wholewheat pasta and either pesto or HM pepperonata and garlic bread (slice of)

Have a lovely day you all xx

Ps: Where's Nix? Hope you're getting on ok hun?

Ooops sorry yes I'll push the the pause button then and resume on monday :D I'm not going to go mad, just eat some nice things and maybe go to a meal at the weekend (though possibly without OH and the kids - which means I'll still have to cook for them too ).

20 years - is that how long it takes  It's only really my dad to be honest. I just get sick of feeling like we're either excluded because of it or else I'm almost expected to "decide" between OH and my dad - well I already made that choice when I left home and got married

Hey kids *waving at bobbadog* just popped in for a read and an update

First off MrsM, I don't think there are any words I can say that are going to make any difference right now - but I know that every single person on here is wishing you and your family well right now. Take care of yourself, we'll be thinking of you xx

Saversarn - hope pooch is ok xx

For some reason I decided to weigh in today as I have a hectic weekend coming up - well I'm pleased to report a 2lb loss. That means I've managed to scrape in my Just bloomin fabalas in June (I never did figure out what we were calling it) and so I am quite happy. This also takes me to another mini target which was 10 and a half stone. Bring on the next half stone which takes me to my official target on 10 stone. Anything beyond that is going to be hard work but an incredible bonus and isn't something that I really dare think about. I'm hoping to get to 10stone mark in the next 10 weeks - 7lbs in 10 weeks, I think that is more than do-able but I'm determined not to set myself up to fail by giving myself 'hard' targets - I need the weight to go off but more importantly stay off so I'm trying to eat a 'normal' diet - something I can maintain forever and if this means the weight loss is a little slower then I can cope with that.

I'd just like to say to anyone who gets fed up about STS I have maintained for the last two weeks but I KNEW that I was doing a bit of exercise and eating ok-ish and that if I just kept keeping on then it would all come right in the end. So please don't get discouraged. It's really natural to want those 2,3,4lb jumps every week but sometimes our bodies are slippery little critters that don't play ball. Similarly if you put any weight on be aware that your hormones, the water you drink, the physical weight of the food you have eaten on the day before or prior to weigh in can affect what the scales are telling you. As we all keep saying we are in this for the duration, keep on trucking guys and you'll get to where you need to be.

One tip, like Saversarn I have actually increased my calorie intake a little bit and that seems to have worked. Your body is designed to keep you alive and kicking at all costs and if it thinks you're going into a situation where food is scarce and you're likely to starve then it can decide to hang onto the weight. It's a clever little thing really. So sometimes eating a little bit more can re-assure it that you're not in a famine and it's ok to release those energy stores.

Much support to all who need it, hope you all have a marvellous day xx

morning all! am back earlier than expected due to being up all night at work so got sent home early!:j

MRSM - so sorry things have got worse - hope you are safely back in this country now (((hugs))) to you and all your family x

Frogga - hope you enjoy your 'pause'

well done to beanilou and Nix:T :T

nix - I agree totally with what you were saying about eating more not less to lose weight - I hear it all the time at SW - people who have eaten more than previous weeks but lost weight! Its no good starving your body as it only hangs on to the weight, I'm always telling my friend that as she never eats breakfast.

Weigh in tonight:eek: bound to be a gain after last week but am back on track again so hopefully will shift it in the next few weeks.

    Food today

    B - 2 x toast with blackcurrant jam

S - 2 biscuits:rolleyes: (need the sugar after last night!)

L - jacket spud, spaghetti and a bit of cheese with some salad

D - not sure yet, possible another sheperdess pie with butternut squash and sweet pot

have got some meringues, light squirty cream and grapes and kiwi fruit and banana as a treat for pud - calorie wise its not too bad.

    See you all later x
    Do what you love :happyhear
