  • Evening everyone

Mrs M - am thinking of you with all your worries.

Toni - hope your dad's tests went ok

(((((hugs))))) to all the other unhappy bunnies on here and hello to all the happy ones.

Yesterday food was OK. OH made homemade hummus which was very tasty for lunch and then he made dinner as well which was savoury rice with roasted mushrooms in a creamy peanut sauce yum.

    Today's food

Breakfast - two pieces toast with peanut butter and jam

    Lunch - veggie sausage sandwich

Dinner - don't know if I'll have time for any (class at the gym and then straight to a PTA meeting) so I've been picking at the kids tea while I was making that :o Don't worry, I left them some!!

OH made a big batch of little cakes for the kids lunchboxes. The problem is he made far too many of them and I've been finding it very hard to keep away. I wonder how many calories a homemade cake would have? Especially one with chocolate chips in!!

Oh well, have a nice evening everyone.

Great news taplady , i bet you're both soo relieved:T

That's frustrating Droopydrawers--just imagine what you'll look like when you reach your goal :D. It's hard when motivation's low isn't it, I struggle a lot with that too. Good luck hun.

I've had a good day, study went well, so got to the allotment:D. Managed an extra walk with the dog too. Had a rollmop (herring--yum!) sandwich with my smoothie at lunch, cos I was so hungry, but still had quite a low cal day.;) So pleased overall, now I just have to resist DSs yummy brownies....

    Have a good evening everyone:A :A
    Anytime;)

Morning ladies :hello: Been for a good swim and am now sat here eatibg soaked oats, yoghurt and berries :D
My tea last night wasn't very nice  so I made myself some SW chips for supper :D

Lunch today is couscous and salad with beetroot in sweet chilli sauce to 'warm' it up a bit!
I've got fruit for snacks and am having quorn sauage, mash and cabbage for tea.

Taplady - OH had loads of trouble with his back, he had all sorts of tests and the hospital were pessimistic to say the least but the physios said it would heal itself in time......he went for the physio and also had a course of acupuncture and he's tons better now.

Toni - well done on the loss:T and thanks for the table :T

    Well done the losers

    Morning all,

well done Toni, 3lbs is a fab loss:A

I'm so excited--I'm on the table, thanks toni, for doing the table and for adding me:j :j

    Food for me today:
    B: museli & ss
    L: fruit smoothie
D: turkey stir fry & rice (higher nutritional content than chicken and Mr M does a great mixed cut pack)
    S: chopped veg, few nuts

Today I'm going to have my lunch smoothie first, had a sandwich first yesterday then was stuffed after my smoothie, and realised the smoothie would have filled me--doh!

Taplady I also have a serious back issue--trapped a nerve very badly when producing DD(13), but was lucky to get good physio really quickly, and the self-help exercises I was given have kept me fairly problem free over the years, even though I've always worked in physically demanding jobs. On the odd occasion the problem's recurred (when I've been too lazy to do the physio for a while:o ), a couple of acupuncture sessions, plus the physio exercises, and it's sorted in a few days.

Have a great day everyone, (((hugs))) to all who need them,

    Jay xx
