    Hi all,

Really tired today but I don't know why, didn't want to get up for work but have to pay the bills so here I am. Hoping that I manage to stick to plan today as its days like today when I am a bit lethargic and fed up that I snack.

L: Mixed salad with cottage cheese, 3 original Ryvita
D: Spanish chicken with new potatoes and salad

    S: Strawberries and yoghurt

Have a great week all :)

    Hi everyone

Hugs to Frogga, some people have no idea how to behave, truely pathetic from a fully grown adult.

Well done Pebbles for a great loss.

I sadly haven't lost an ounce for the 2nd week on the trot. Am feeling very frustrated, not giving up yet but its just so hard when you are working hard & not getting a result.

Is anyone here a gym member. Me & mum went up to our gym at the weekend just to see the price. I thought it would be way out of my league but was really surprised to see how affordable it is. Do any of you gym people recommend/not recommend? I've been doing the same workout almost every day for 20 weeks and I think my muscles are getting lazy & the effectiveness is wearing off.

    Food today:

B - 2 shredded wheat & semi skimmed. Half tin of pineapple.

L - broccoli & stilton soup (will try & lay off the bread!), fruit & yog

D - Probably jacket potato with tuna but could change mind

Have a good day all and would be really interested in any gym comments people have.

(((((Hugs))))) to you Mrs M, not sure what to say.
I just hope your sister improves quickly and that your mamma (gran?) recovers soon. Your poor mum...at least they are in the same hospital.

    Thinking of you and yours

Morning all! Big hugs to Frogga and Mrs' M's Mamma!!

I was quite controlled all weekend, went 10 calories over my target (1311) on Sat, and that included 2 whiskeys. Sunday I was good ALL DAY until I nibbled a few tortilla chips with salsa, with OH whilst watching a film (in my defence, we'd ran out of fruit!)

    Today:
B: 3 fat free crackers with smidgen of low fat peanut butter
    S: few grapes and cherries
L: Cup a soup, yoghurt (have salad and fruit, but not madly hungry)
D: Salmon baked in oven with philly, lime rice and veggies

Have a lovely day you all! x

PS: managed 15 mins jogging on rebounder this morning :)

    Hi All,

Sorry to hear all the problems some of us are facing. I hope all goes well with your sister and Mamma Mrs M. Well done for restraining the comfort eating Frogga. And congratulations on the weight losses Pebbles, Lemonade Money and Superspam. Apologies if I have missed anyone.

Thank you for all the lovely comments about the knitted scarecrow. I really enjoyed doing it and am trying to decide what to do next as it has helped so much to keep me out of the kitchen and away from the nibbles. I really need some more wool now as I have used up lots of the oddments my Mum sent me. I have advertised on Freecycle but not had any response so far.

I've had a really busy day so far. I've written 2 articles rather than my normal one as I had 6 extra commissioned that need to be in ASAP. After just writing one a week it seems an awful lot. I've also been to the Post Office to post some Amazon and ebay parcels and have another trip to make as I forgot I had another Amazon sale last thing last night - after I'd packed everything else up. I've also written several letters - I've written a weekly letter to my Mum for the past 35 years (!) and have started writing a weekly letter to OH's Mother too this past year. I've also put on another batch of yoghurt as I finished the last lot yesterday and made half a dozen little jellies for OH to snack on.

Trying to smuggle the vegetables into DS's shepherd's pie wasn't successful this week as I didn't hide them well enough and he barely touched it once he realised there were 'things' in it yesterday. However, he has forgiven me and asked me to go help him choose a suit for his wedding on Wednesday so I've offered to treat him and his fiancee (and OH if he is around) to lunch out afterwards.

B: Fruit and fibre mixed with muesli, raisins and skimmed milk.
L: HM tortilla wrap (made with Mrs M's recipe with malted grain flour and gorgeous - which is a good job as I have another 39 balls of dough in the freezer!) filled with salad, prawns and EL mayonnaise.
D: Tagliatelle with cheese, mushrooms and garlic. Rasberry yoghurt.

Right, back off to the PO and maybe a walk if my friend is in once I've posted my parcel.

(((((hugs)))))MrsM, you and your Mum must be in a state :grouphug: but at least they're in the same hospital - not that that's any consolation:doh:

In fact, (((((hugs))))) to anyone who needs one as there's a few of us suffering at the moment methinks.

I'm just having a cr*p day:mad: the boss is on holiday (again) and everyone seems to think that I'm here just to pander to them, not do any of MY work
*note to self lock the door tomorrow lunchtime*

However my lunch was very tasty and filling so I don't need a mid-afternoon snack:D but I didn't get for my swim so I'll go early in the morning.

    Sorry Frogga!
