Aw Bless yer wikkle poly-cotton sox Angelnikki:pI didn't even think of including yooze lot in my sweeping statement about cooking eggs:o It's the way that boiling an egg is held up as some yard-stick to measure culinary skills by...doesn't take into account all the other wonderful concoctions that you can whizz up with half a pound of cheese & a mackeral head:D
Serves me right tho, cuz I shout at the tv & papers soooo often when they 'generalise' & now I've gone & done it mesen:( Pot & kettle spring to mind.....but then that could just be cuz I haven't had a cuppa yet either:rotfl:
MrsMc, have you noticed a difference in your food intake whilst taking less exercise? I was just thinking that you were walking to the shops & stuff almost every day, but now you're concentrating on your handicrafts....I'm just curious cuz I can just about manage to blink & that's my total work-out for the day:rotfl: I'm more of a "cerebral" personality than a "physical"....sounds good dunnit, but just means I prefer reading than moving:p

Hi Folks - long time no "see"! I have been really busy with school and having folks to stay, so really haven't bothered about my weight or eating generally. However, I have continued to walk with the hounds every morning and tend to average about 12K steps each day, since the beginning of May. Decided to weigh myself this morning and am 4lbs lighter than the last time (at least three weeks ago I think). Maybe just getting on with life is what I need to do! Will try to catch up a bit with the thread later, as am very out of touch! Have a good day!Resolution:

 Hi everone. AAAARRRRGGGGG:mad: . I've not been on for a few days and it shows. I've had a terrible couple of days, i did one of the things i thought i'd finally managed to leave behind. Binge. I had a mega and i mean MEGA binge on fri night. I used to binge after i'd had my little boy but that was mainly down to lack of sleep and not being able to eat at regular times, and it's a habit i've not been able to really shake off since. I had been doing really well with it and thought i had it under control. I'd not binged in months then firday came and disaster hit big time. It started with one bag of crisps and before i knew it i'd had 6 and a bar of choc:mad:. I've never felt sooo sick or ashamed of myself:o. Worst thing was i'd been out walking all day and managed to clock up 22,250 steps then ruined it all
Sorry for the rant folks i promise i'm done now. I've never told anyone about my binging before but feel loads better for getting it off my chest. Anyway today is a new day and tomoro is weigh in day so not expecting anything spectacular. I'll be extatic if i sts.

Hey everyone, thought I'd pop on here and have a little bounce - I've just done 8.5k on my cross trainer and I am really proud of myself, bless me. It's first time I've managed more than 7 and a summink. Got to say though I smell like a cat's bum - no offence to any cats out there - apparently it's the ammonia in your sweat that makes you pong a bit and it is a good thing - this is one of the times I am glad I live by myself because it would take a strong woman to come near me right this minute
Oh and here's another one of my hair brained fitness schemes - I've signed up to this - http://hundredpushups.com/index.html - aim is that by the end of it you can do 100 push ups none stop  AND I'm also starting this http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml - couch to 5k - aimed for those people who just can't do the running thing. Now I have hated running every time I have tried it and always stomped back home with a face on me but I figure hey ho, might as well have a bash. After all what have I got to lose? Determined to hit 40 next year as healthily as I can.
Feel a bit of a fraud coming on the thread now as I have pretty much stopped being bothered about my weight and am far more interested in how fit I am. It's measuring day next week and I'm hoping to have lost some inches - if I haven't there is going to be war, believe you me LOL.
Off for a shower, take care and be just great or jubilant or jumping or any other relevant J word you can think of. Byeeeee! xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Hiya, hope you're all well today,
Nickynoo, I agree you probably needed the extra cals, or you could always take the view that without the steps the binge would have been a much bigger probem.
Nix. well done on the exercise front--wow!
Angelnikki, I had a Saturday beer n crisps binge last night, just one of those things isn't it. I so enjoyed them, tho....yum
Today,
Brekkie was museli
Lunch: sandwich and fruit--might make a smoothie
Tea: steak and new pots, mushrooms, onions and 2 salads, strawberries and ice cream for afters (I'll skip the ice cream, lol)
Snacks, fruit
Have a good day all, Jay xxAnytime;)0
