    Hi everyone,

Well done losers, hugs to those in need.

Jumped on scales this morning - 2 days before weigh day :naughty: - and wasn't happy. Luckily my lovely mum reminded me of how well I'm doing & what I've achieved so far. She has lost weight in the past so reminded me of how she would sts for a few weeks at a time & then suddenly drop 4lb's.

To cheer myself up I got the tape measure out - was truely staggered to see that I've lost 7 inches of my hips! :T That spurred me on to not throw the towel in, I will do this!!!

    Food today:

    B - 2 x shredded wheat & semi skimmed

L - 5 water biscuits with xtra low fat cream cheese + 3 turkey slices. 2 satsumas.

D - either SW chips & beans or SW quiche. Porbably chips, quiche is too tempting to keep going back for more!

    Snacks - fruit, yoghurt

    Have a good day everyone
    Total debt £21,000

    Hello folks :hello:
Feeling better today, I had a decent night's sleep (thanks to earplugs) and the migraine lifted by mid morning.

We've been to the lotty this morning - before the rain! and I've got some onions, garlic and more rocket:rolleyes: Tied the broad beans up, weeded round the cauliflowers, squashes and courgettes are doing well as are the beetroot, radish, lettuce and spuds :D Peppers, tomatoes andaubergines are in the yard doing well :D

Brekkie today was poached eggs (I can poach eggs but I have a machine for boiled :o ) beans, mushrooms and toast (migraine tablets make me hungry!)

Lunch was HM pea and rocket soup with polenta fingers.
I'm going to do a bit of cooking in a bit and might make a BNS (you all know what that is now don't you? :p ) and spinach lasagne for tea and I'll do a lentil roast for tomorrow I think..........

Taplady - glad you enjoyed Devon, hope the damage limitation goes to plan !

MrsM - :grouphug: Hope your sis is feeling a bit better now. I'll have a root through my patterns later to see if I have the soldier, I've got lots of those little snowmen!!!

Might see you later folks :A
  • Hello everyone

What a wet, miserable day. Makes you just want to curl up with the telly on, doesn't it?

MrsM - thoughts are with you and your sister. You always manage to sound so positive even with all that on your mind.

Toni - hope your dad's doing OK and managing to get plenty of rest.

Chloebelle - wow, 7 inches, what a result. Keep going girl.

Rockie - I don't know what BNS is  Should I? It sounds as though it could be naughty.

Well, I managed to stick to yesterday's eating plan with just the small addition of one piece of toast with marmite - DS1 was having one and I couldn't resist.

    Today's food

Breakfast - 3 small croissants with 2 teaspoons of bramble jelly

Lunch - couldn't be bothered with anything proper so have had a banana and a couple of ready-cooked veggie sausages out of the fridge.

Dinner - The rest of the family are having veggie hot dogs but I've had sausages now so I might just have some salad instead.

I'm off to re-start some embroidery which I haven't touched for about 2 years but which I have been inspired by this thread to start again. It's a table runner which I'm doing for my mom's birthday in December. I might just finish it this time.

    Have a good weekend.

Had my WI this morning instead of Friday (forgot as DD was up early for the 5th time this week - I'm knackered) and I have STS. Predictable really as I stuffed myself last weekend and have been on damage limitation since. At least I managed to claw it back :).

Have been good today. Weekends are usually my biggest downfall. DH made a big pot of pea & ham soup for tea tonight, usually we order a takeaway, so I'm hoping I'm gonna get through this weekend unscathed for once.

Big hugs to those that need them and well done to all the loses, we've had some really good ones this week, so well done :T

I always cheat when I do poached eggs ;) : use a cup and place some clingfilm over it, then push the cling film down inside the cup and break the egg into it. Gather all the corners of the clingfilm together and twist them so you've got the egg wrapped up in it. boil some water in a pan and when its on a rolling boil, lower the eggs in and leave for 4-5 mins. 4 minutes for runnier yolk and 5 for more solid yolk Dead easy and none of that faff of making a whirlpool or however other people do it:confused: HTH
