    evening all

dd's hand is infected but not badly - it turns out that not one of the 20 or 30 adults present thought to give her proper first aid which might have prevented the blistering - he has just popped in on his way back from brussels - as you do - and had the blasting from hell. Oh my life he has been here 15 minutes and I'm about to chuck him out - he just called our dd fat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to her face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hugs to everyone else who needs them
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Evening

Had quite a productive day. Went into town with Mum. Paid a bill, banked some cash from my side jobs, banked £50 in £2 coins into the ISA and did some other jobs. Went to the fishmonger and got three bits of huss - £20:eek: Cutting all the pieces in half to make two dinners out of them.

Daily clicks are done, surveys completed and dinner is cooking.

Off to the New Forest for the day tomorrow, so that'll be fun. Although money's a bit tight, so will have have frugal fun.

    Hope everyone's ok

Yes, I did see it, I think she lovely and down to earth. I was a wee bit annoyed with the family from hull, there food budget is £80.00 and seems quite reasonable to me but they kept on going on about money and four of them smoked, including the 13 year old:eek:

I hope Sarah manages to turn them around tonight, I have never seen anyone cook sausages in a microwave like the lady did last night on the TV.
Hi. I watched Sarah Fergusson in Hull last night. Was it just me or did anyone else notice considering the family were skint they had walkers crisps, heinz baked beans, heinz tomato ketchup-not bad for skint!!! It's on again tonight, It'l be interesting to see how things develop...

When my Dad was in the hospice they were very good with pain relief, he ended up with a small pump type thing that kept everything topped up so he was pain. Hugs to you both.

Did your DH think for a happy moment he got 17 bottles a week?

Hope that he gets things sorted out so the worry is lifted a bit.

Just going to have a look at the latest SP thread - Saucepot and others are trying to lure him into a night out in Leeds, offering to look after him and see he has some fun. The panic vibes emanating from Phil's replies are tangible.

How would any of you lot feel if you'd got a crappy unreliable car yourself, and having just bought your DD a nice newish car for her 21st, she then refuses to take you somewhere on Monday. My car will not make it, and she's going anyway with her bf:mad:
I'm trying to stay calm , counting to a zillion, and have just cancelled her bit of the joint car breakdown recovery thing, that's just come up for renewal that I always pay for.I'm sick of being taken the p1ss out of, and treated like dirt:(:(
Sorry for the rant but I am feeling very dwon at the mo:(

Hi. Unfortunately, I can relate to this, my ex OH and his mother say it to my eldest frequently-less than they used to now I have given them my two penneth worth, but nevertheless they still do call her fat on occasion.

well i went to the review, and they said they would see if they could see if they get me my insoles sorted out and in a month they think I'm going to be fit well they live in cloud cuckoo land did not seem to register the other things i have wrong with me. so i did not tell them any different (got a sort of look from rep that said say nothing)if i had interrupted then they would already of set the date for my dismissal through illness so up to more month
its at times like these i wish i could run away, but i would have to hobble
