On the other hand she did recommend a salt bath, just had one and good grief, brought tears to the eyes it did :eek::eek:

I am so proud of my dd(22) - she has finally decided to deal with her debts and has started a diary on the dfw board. She has always struggled with money and has a mild learning difficulty especially when it comes to numbers so quite literally has no idea where her money goes. she came in from work to tell me that she has an interview with a debt cosolidation co tomorrow:eek: so I have gently pointed her towards the lovely dfwers - apparantly she and her bf are getting married next summer - news to me but ah well. Still no news on the baby front from her but even if it's just a false alarm at least it's prompted her to take some action

Just about to go to bed...exhausted from last two days hassle!

Stefjb...hope that DDs hand is better soon, glad you had a go at ex, although sounds as if he doesn't live much in the real world...what a rotten thing to say to DD!

Aussie...glad that you have got your meds sorted...we are going to be laden down with meds now that OH is on 3, glad to say that I can once more look forward to breakfast in Brisbane on Saturday before heading for Bribie Island.

Hugs to all in need or want

    Evening everyone

Late post from me, but am trying to get back I managed to do a bit of h/w today, my back is so much better. I feel bad cos I can’t seem to do anything when I know there are so many out there who are worse off than me. Its not just my back, it’s a mind thing, it seems the longer I am out of work, the less I feel like doing at home.

Steph – my DD was really into dancing when she was younger and my ex OH told her that it was difficult for her competing in competitions because she was so much fatter than the other girls. This comment gave her eating problems for many years, some of which I only found out later. But on the otherhand she became a redcoat at Butlins so maybe my go-get-it-girl outweighed his negativity.

I’d like to send big hugs for all those who need them when I read the thread I want to answer to everyone, but me brain stops me cos |I can't remember things, am hoping that I will soon be able to remember and respond properly.

On the upside, I still cannot stop baking cakes and muffins, I have enough in the freezer to last a few weeks(months) and also have loads of bolognaise sauce and savoury mince to make shepherds pie for a couple of months. I think I need to re think my jobsearch and instead of office work, I need to work in a tea room :rotfl:

I don't know how anyone else feels, but I find cooking/baking good for me. All my worries go when I am in the kitchen.

I am hypothyroid as well - there seem to be quite a few of us on here.

It sounds as if they have caught Aussielass early enough for it not to affect her too badly. It took ten years for me to find out why I was crawling around like one of the living dead!!!

I made apple and ginger cakes yesterday and they have all disappeared so might make muffins if I can find my Tightwad gazette recipe.
