Be prepared for it to take a while to get the dosage right and to feel a real improvement.

    Mrs mix

I agree with everyone else that it has to be the kid's decision and yours - not some distant relative. Why is it always the people who do not help who feel entitled to criticise?

Washing machine is on and I need to make some bread rolls for later.

Might make Twinks hob nob for later - or else a cake.

Did not do the curry and kofta kebabs last night so might do them today instead.

Best wishes to Pennypincher and hope the treatment makes a real improvement for her.

    Kathy

Hope your DH is all right and will be able to fly.

    Hugs to all

    Good morning!:hello:

I'm really tired this morning so please excuse me if I'm a bit incoherent and can't remember what anyone's said - apologies in advance if i don't mention you by name:o

Had lunch at DD's yesterday and she's just started doing SW so we had a SW recipe for lunch - very tasty too. She'd been planning fishcakes for last night's dinner, but then realised they had to be chilled overnight, so they'll be for tonight instead - i did feel sorry for her, she was preparing them when i arrived and said she seemed to have been cooking all morning - she looked shattered! Last night though she had her first weigh-in and she'd lost 4 1/2 lbs, so she felt all the hassle had been worth it. I don't think I'll be joining her though - their grocery bill shot up by £40:eek: After lunch we went to Sainsbury's as I needed a few bits and DSIL had forgotten to buy DGD's milk when he did the shopping on Sunday. I was really glad I'd taken a shopping list because DGS bawled all the way round the shop because he wanted to walk rather than sit in the trolley:rolleyes: and I wouldn't have been able to think what I wanted. He couldn't walk, because one of us was pushing the trolley and the other, the twin pushchair with DGD in it.

Lots of washing to do today, the first load's in the WM atm. Will do hoovering too if I can manage it.

Metherer - so sorry tohear about your job, that's rotten for you.

Penelope Penguin - thanks for the pic of you with that gorgeous piglet! How old was it? glad you enjoyed the course.

Aussielass - ((((HUGS)))), how horrid to have to wait all that time to be given bad news! At least things can be sorted out now. Hope the tablets will help and that you soon start feeling better.

Arkonite Babe - poor you, hope your infection gets sorted quickly.

Shez - glad you all enjoyed the trip to the Fire Station! I was pleased to hear they still had the pole to slide down - I remember reading that one Fire Brigade, can't remember where, had had to get rid of their pole for H & S reasons - apparently some bright spark decided it would be safer to have them all running downstairs:confused:  Words fail me! (Not often that happens:D ) Hope you enjoy the Tap lessons!

Mrs Mix - I agree with what others have said, your children shouldn't have to go to the funeral if they don't want to. Don't let anyone make you feel pressured into making them go. They will remember their Grandad as he was.(((HUGS)))

dlb - well done on the weight loss, and Charlie's Mum, you are doing really well, and the weight is more likey to stay off if it's lost slowly.

Stefejb - your poor DD! hope her hand gets better quickly!

    Candygirl (((HUGS)))

    Smokybabe - (((HUGS)))

(((HUGS))) to all who are ill or worrying about poorly relatives.

    Best wishes

    ivyleaf xx

Better go and get some breakfast now. Will catch up later

Hi Jayward. No wonder you want a rant!!! Can you not rearrange the review? Ask someone else-although it's short notice? Record the review? Just trying to come up with suggestions. (((hugs))). Hope you get it sorted.

Hello all ! Sunshine - ooops.........well it was, seems to have vanished now !
Chilly wind so I'm not going far, just to see my Counsellor and thats just across the road from me.
Last appointment and I feel a bit like my lifeline is being taken away........think I'll ask them to keep a space open for me. Don't relish going through everything again with someone new but it's a good back up for me.

Other than that, no plans for today as such. I'll see how I feel later

Have a good day and hugs (((((((((:o )))))))))) to all those who need them
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
