You have to remember a certain number of house viewers are just that - viewers. Some people will just go looking for the hell of it. They have no intention of buying, their just being nosey. Can't see the appeal myself. It's always worth making sure that your EA checks to see if their finances are in place and wether they have sold or not. You can tell them not to show anyone who doesn't meet any criteria you choose.

TBH one of my pet(!) hates is cat/dog food bowls out on show, especially in a kitchen, and on reflection probably even more so in a bedroom. The viewer may have been the same, but you really cannot please everyone. i have a friend who hates toys on show and another who is the same about coats in a hallway.........so we are all different. Don't fret about it.
I saw a full potty once when viewing.... yellow and brown.... butthe best was the teenager bunking off school in bed naked with his girlfriend - the EA and their faces were priceless(we bought the house)

She's been watching too much property !!!!!!. And forgotten that houses are homes.
Also, she's forgotten her manners by turning up early.
She was just a snotty cow who wanted to sound superior when asked what she thought. She'd probably not buy it anyway because her husband's been rogering the secretary for awhile now and he'll be keen to sell their existing home, but will try to keep her under control when buying their next one as he's got plans to take the cash and run.0 -

one of the guys at work told me today, he went to a view a house, and one of the bedrooms was full of toys - stuffed toys, dolls, dolls WITH NO HEADS ON! he said he was totally freaked out by the whole thing and left sharpish!
My house is a home, okay so I should have removed the bowls, but I truly forgot, we call them tyre kickers in Scotland, people who spent their weekends going round other people's houses just to look at them, in the same way people spend time in car showrooms - how on earth could you be bothered to do that!0 -
I would see it as a compliment that the only negative she could throw at you was a cat bowl on the floor!0

If the the cat food bowls had been in neutral colours you'd have been OK.0

This comment was from a person too stupid to tell the time or to find the front door!

next time ask the EA to do the job properly and explain to people that to remove cat bowl they will not need to strip the floors and dig into the foundation:DThe word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.0
