Daisydoll - the girls had seperate beds but nagged for bunkbeds and we thought it would give them more room. DD slept on the top bunk for a couple of months (she is 5) but then decided she was lonely. DD2 (she will be 4 next month) said sleep with me. We thought they would get fed up of it after a couple of days but actually they love it. We have always had sleep issues with one or the other of them (or both at the same time) since doing this they sleep through everynight. After 5 years of sleepless nights its bliss:D . They use the top bunk as a den, they sit up there watching videos and when I am at work at the weekend DH lets them have their lunch up there:mad: :rotfl: .
Well hoovered, floors mopped, outside porch all wiped down and ironing put away. Also popped to the shop for some bedding plants and compost so thats this pm task (littles will love it;) ). Also popped to library to find out how much my fine is for late books £20:eek:  . Think I will go in and pay a couple of £ a week, shelling it all out in one go would just hurt too much.
Littles eating sausage roll from the bakers so best grab a bite myself and then off to the garden for an hour or two.0 -
Shell-Awww that's cute that they actually sleep better together...not sure my two would. Mine are similar ages DD1 is nearly 5 and DD2 has just tur ned 3. I have just orded some bunkbeds but they can be spilt into 2 beds if I find they don't behave lol! I have room for 2 beds in the one room but I think they would prefer the space to play in! I suppose at this age they are small enough to sleep in the one bed if they wanted to.DFW no.630!

Hi everyone,
I am still a day ahead. :j Yesterday I didn't get back to my laptop as we had a major blitz in the boys room. I have got one bag for e bay and one bag for a friend and another for DH as work clothes. It's great when you can start wearing your kids cast offs. It saves loads of money.:money:
My youngest two aged 17 and 19 still share a room and have bunks, etc. They also have a fridge and sofa. I offered them the camping stove as then they needn't come out for meals!! We have two empty bedrooms, DS1 who is at uni and DD who has half moved out, and the old playroom which would make an excellent bedroom, yet they still share.
Oh I forgot, I also got 2 binbags of rubbish out of their room. They did work with me the whole time but would never have done it without me waving my stick around! (pick up stick)
Now all I have to do is figure out how to use ebay properly, my last attempt was a fiasco.

Decided against town - will go first thing tomorrow - the thought of peace at home before 10 days of kids was too appealing.
I've tidied the lady garden sorry if you're having lunch and tried on my swimmers for CP - not a happy experience. One the lycra has gone so looks floppy, one makes me look too heavy on the legs and is a bit low cut for swimming which leaves one which will have to do - may have a quick look in JL tomorrow if I have time.
Just having lunch and then I plan to get as much done off my list as I can.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Pooh nice that your lads are still happy to share even at that age. Can I be nosey and ask if you have more than one shower? We have one in the bathroom but a second would be handy. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Hiya
Just popped on to find a rhubarb crumble recipie. I've got a wedding to go to tomorrow and have nothing to wear. Decided not to worry and have just gone to the shops and bought three gorgeous tops. Now I just need to get some trousers or a skirt. Will do that this evening.
Going to put on my ipod and fly and make a crumble now.
Speak later xx0
