Well DD2 is at nursery and DD1 is watching tv at the mo, will try and get her doing something esle in a bit but limited to space at the mo because of her bedroom being out of bounds.

Shell-How come your 2 sleep together on the bottom bunk? How old are they? I'm still trying to decide which bunkbed to get, I think I'll def go for one that can be seperated if DD1 doesn't like it on the top bunk.

Have managed to S&S kitchen, put a load of washing on, DW on and I need to make some bread. Will try and get downstairs done as much as possible today but upstairs in no chance as plasterers are finally here yay!

SSL - fingers crossed things settle soon, an anon call to the police might help if things don't calm down.

DP has ordered his new car, funded by his relatives, based on past experience I don't know how long it'll last before he gets the 'I need to use it bring it over' 'take me here there and everywhere regardless of what you're doing' 'but you owe me' all the time but I have made him agree that if it starts, she gets it back. I am in no way an ungrateful person, to spend £15k on a car for him is a nice gesture but no other gift has ever been without strings. We'll just have to wait and see.

It was fine thanks lil_me. They are just gobby, and a Celtic scarf has been thrown over the fence in defiance (by them) !!!!!!? Like I care. We support Everton as you all know and are probably sick of hearing hee hee.

Does DP need a car? I think I'd rather do without (as I do) than accept. Like you say, it's not going to be without strings. Oh well, he might learn this time?

Well I have been a very busy flylady this morning. I'm planning on going through each of the rooms and binning/ebaying/freecycling anything that hasnt been used since I moved here (nearly 4 years ago). So far this week, I've done 2 kitchen cupboards on Monday, so I thought I'd do the cleaning cupboard this morning, argh!!!! I really am a disgrace. I found 2 bottles of kitchen spray with bleach. 6 filthy dusters which are now in the washing machine. A bottle of dishwasher cleaner (?) dated bb May 05. Thats in the DW now. And I have to confess, 2 tubes of metal cleaner in additional to the 1 that CB kindly sent me and a tub of astonish. CB - pm me your address and I'll send you back the metal cleaner you sent me. I feel awful! I've also cleaned DDs bedroom window as they were a disgrace.

    Right, whats next? :)

    Morning all

I wasn't going to come on this morning, but have just sat down with a cuppa before I have to go for DS from nursery so I thought it couldn't do any harm as it will definitely only be 5 minutes ;)

How are you all getting on this morning? Don't have time to read all the posts but will do later on. I'm flying at super speed this morning for the first time all week :D Downstairs all done except the hall, will tackle kids rooms this afternoon and the hall later on today at some point.

    Hope you're all doing well

  • Morning everyone,

Lil-me - I am glad that raised a giggle :D and re the car thing we were in a similar position... DH told MIL that if she ever threw it up in our/my face that she would find it on her drive (she had done this with something else with spectacular effect on dd1's 1st Christmas  << not very often I use that emoticon!) She never said a word...

SSL - :rotfl: once you have two of something they always multiply... Just a couple of weeks ago I threw out the last of the boxes that I hadn't unpacked from when we moved in 2002 :o How are things going with the viewings? are you still on O/O?

Pinky Fairy & taurusgb Huge hugs - nothing worse than not being able to sleep/or actually managing to sleep only to feel worse for it...

Cake for MIL is in the over I got a bit sidetracked last night... programme about large families and then I almost forgot about ER  it was the last in the series... It is the only programme that I never miss (well 1 episode a couple of years ago) How sad is that?! :rotfl:

Cake is out - better go get the other half of the team dressed and get a wriggle on...

    Catch you all later x

Not doing too badly lately. I'm up to date with the cleaning. Flylady has really helped me keep on top of things, even if I don't necessarily always stick to the exact routine.

Yesterday I decided DD1's bedroom really needed tackling so I went up and rearranged some of the things around so that her keyboard is actually near a socket! I cleared off the top of her chest of drawers, threw away rubbish (sweet wrappers and the like ) then dumped the rest on her bed for her to sort out. There wasn't too much tbh, but I told her that I didn't want to find it all dumped on the floor because if it was I would come up in the night and dump it back on her bed :rotfl:. It's actually looking quite good now, though how long she can keep it up I don't know. Two days is my guess :rotfl::rotfl::rolleyes:

Today I'm changing all the beds - that's my major job of the day so shouldn't take too long, and I don't have to rush to get it all washed and dried today because I have one spare set for each bed (my winter duvet only has one cover so it needs washing and drying which is a bit of a pain).

Anyway, who's stolen the summer . Was that it last week?

Right, off to change the beds then have a coffee (how do you all do a coffee cup?)

    Morning all

I'm not even going to attempt to read what's been going on, I've been away all week, so if there was anything really exciting I'd be grateful if someone could tell me. Don't want to put my foot in it.

Nothing done from the list at all obviously, but everything was left tidy and I've done some washing this morning.

Hmm, things arent going so well. I've only had 2 viewers. I think everyone is being scared of the media hype about the impending house price crash. I've just been onto the solicitors. I think I'll keep it on at O/O and go to a fixed price in a couple of weeks if no change. This is one problem I've never had when selling! I've got a couple of guys coming round tomorrow to tidy up the garden and then I'll get another pic of the front done, not that its a huge mess or anything ;) Just add 'kerb appeal' as the house doctor would say :)
