Good morning all, still not got much done this week. I spend to much time on the computer. My house buyers are coming to have another look at the house tomorrow so I really need it to at least look spotless. The intention was to have everything done by yesterday so that today I could cut the grass again and clean carpets. Instead, if I run around all morning, I can make the garden presentable and do carpets this afternoon, then take kids to my mum's for tea so that they don't ruin my dining room carpet or make too much of a mess.

They always say that they can't tidy up after themselves. I keep telling them that if they can make the mess, they can tidy it up.

Wow what's going on lately? People getting shot, stabbed etc. Exeter was evacuated yesterday due to a bomb in a cafe toilet, they evacuated the whole city centre just in case. I believe a man was injured but they know the perpetrator and have arrested him, was from Plymouth. Thank goodness no more were hurt and we weren't there shopping! Right got to go and tackle this mammoth task, right after the kids have been fed and groomed and shoved out the door. Hols tomorrow! I haven't had time to start packing and the grocery list for the cottage hasn't been done yet - got slot for sunday from tesco and sainsbury site is down! I'm not panicking - yet!

:rotfl: At your cat taurusgb, a right scaredy cat:rotfl: .

Nicki - Wow its all happening in your neck of the wood. Scarey thought it had only just happened.

No school for DD1 today, nursery is open but dont fancy my chances of gettiing DD2 there with other one being at home.

Did my iroining last night - just 3 of DH work shirts that I forgot about as had took them off the line and hung up so will do them later (maybe;) ).

    Plan for today:-

Fantastic Friday - The Land of 'Spare Oom' and the neighbouring Land of child Grot
    Level One
Open the windows and collect the smelly laundry!
Strip the beds that need doing
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! HHE:j
    Level Two
Find the floor.. books on shelves, toys in boxes, games in cases and restacked.
    Vacuum new found floor
    Wipe windows, pc's, screens etc
    Level Three
Wipe away any sticky messes and grub-spots
Fling 10 things which no longer fit or are beyond wearing
Turn mattresses and remake the beds
    Extras
    1. Find something to freecycle.. you could even fill a box of junk to car boot ;)
    2. Find something to ebay
    3. Find something to send to charity shop - Bag already started
    4. Find something to give to someone you know
    Other stuff

Trip to market for gammon joint
Pop to shop for coke (to cook above in) and milk
    Prep salad for tea
    Make bread rolls
    S & S kitchen, bathroom & lounge
    Put last nights ironing away
Get girls ballet stuff ready for tomorrow
Pack girls case for 2 nights at nannies;) :j
    Hoover through
Mop kitchen, bathroom & porch floors
    Clean outside porch (windows etc)

Littles getting dressed so guess I should do the same and then they can scooter to the market. May take them swimming later depends how we get on and how tired/stroppy DD2 gets later.

Hopefully today will be as productive as yesterday as I got loads of silly jobs done like sorting under the kitchen sink - loads of flinging going on;) .

Morning all. I'm exhausted again today but I suspect its due to all the walking yesterday! I really need to get my bottom into gear as I was in bed by 10.30 last night after trying on my new clothes/boots/jewellery I bought (Me liking them alot :D ) and, even though it's blowing my own trumpet, I looked very smart and teacher like :D Can't wait for the last couple of tops (ebay purchases) to be delivered then I need to source another skirt & some smart shoes, a smart pair of trousers and maybe another necklace or two for variations on outfits ;) I feel another trip to Ethel Austins coming on :rotfl:

    Right, priorities for today are
    • ebay parcels
    • Asda/tesco run (then I can incorporate a trip to ethel austins at the same time, their liquidation sale is fast running out of stock! )

      • Dispatch sold items (THURSDAY onwards I think..)
      • Pictures
      • Listings in Turbolister
      • Upload 5 at a time.
    • Sewing repairs
    • Put up DDs corkboard
    • Buy summer quilts from Wilko's (or Asda if they have them in:rolleyes:) I KNEW there was something I wanted from Wilko's yesterday but couldn't remember what

    • Garden
      • Cut honesty to dry
      • Weed pavement
      • Declutter and list pots etc on freecycle
      • Top dress the flowerbeds to get rid of bag of compost.

Got downstairs to chase the kids with breakfast dishes but I found out the cats had pee'd in 4 places downstairs and pooped by the door :( So now I have to clean again. They'd also pooped in the litter tray so obviously they could not go in there again grrr. It's a combination of me behaving like I do when we go away, the rabbit being loose all night instead of putting him away (he has the run of the garden when we go away otherwise he would be shut in all week and I never leave him in except when it's dark), the new neighbouring cats (less likely but still) and the fact I was cleaning like crazy yesterday and maybe the place seems different like when we get new furniture or strange people in the place.
OK I am off properly now to get this mess sorted out and neutralised once and for all!

      Good morning all,

Quick catch up before I start work. *yawn* It doesn't seem to matter what time I put the light out, I'm still shattered every morning. I even took two Sleepeasy capsules last night!

Hope everyone else is feeling fine, and any poorlies are getting better. Managed most of my "dailies" already. Just going to load washing machine before I power up work laptop!

      Have a good day.

Been to the market and back. Littles managed it without mowing anyone down and were both very good:D . Gammon now in slow cooker with onion and can of coke doing its thing, one less thing to think about.

Have just S & S bathroom, dusted lounge and just about to strip the bed in the girls room (them shareing the bottom bunk no only means they sleep through but only 1 set of bedding:D . Littles currently in there putting all their cuddlies back on the top bunk - they decided to throw them all off this morning for reasons know only to themselves:confused: . Wish me luck though as they have decided to "help" me today. I see half my vinegar spray being used:eek: .

I really need to get my hair cut I just dont know what style to go for. I am sick of looking like scruffy mummy. Ok cannot afford a complete new wardrobe but I think if your hair/make-up looks good it lifts your whole appearance.

      Right bed stripping it is.

Morning :D just having a cuppa and some brekkie (pain au chocolat - yellow stickered yumminess) before I start my dash about day. Friday before hols always end up like this  I'm not touching the boys rooms, they have all next week to do them, I nearly broke my neck getting their clothes out this morning  I've got a washer load in, one I did first thing is on the line, DP won't be up until 11am as he was in very late from work (I am sure it was daylight) which means I can wait and set off after the bad traffic (I hate going on the A1 on Fridays!!)

Suppose I should get moving and do something.....ah yes I have emails to check and some banking to sort out, then I must get off my very comfy sofa :( Have a nice day everyone x
One day I might be more organised...........
