Hiya
Just to say Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday list is now completed. It took me from 4pm to just now (8 O'Clock) and a lot of dancing to my ipod. Lots to do tomorrow including returning a call to the hospice where I was going to start voluntary work before my accident. I've just realised my police check will run out if I don't start work soon so I thought i'd man the shop or makes teas etc until I can use my hand again. Anything they want me to do really.
Going to do an hour of college work and then have a bath and early night. Very hot and muggy here.
Speak later xx0 -
Oh Daisydoll, thats a thought. I fancy a cider, but none in, so could have a nice wee wine and soda instead0

DD has very kindly allowed me about ten minutes on here, so I'm typing very fast...
Gardened for a friend this morning, and actually did some flying after lunch - Level 3 in the bathroom, and whizzed around with the vacuum unpstairs. I would have done downstairs as well, but the sofas were occupied with teenagers supposedly revising. They looked asleep to me... I went out in the garden to stop myself shouting at them. Again.
pigpen - hugs, not the greatest time for you and your family, but you have the strength to cope, and we all always here for you!
kaz - you sound much more positive today. I think you did the right thing, making sure the incident is noted, just in case. We'll keep ssl in reserve shall we??!!
AnW's mum - lots of extra hugs for you.
nicki - hugs for you too, you sound like you could do with a little cherishing.
johanne - What an awful thing to happen.
:hello:to chunky79 - you have been busy!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
SSL - Thanks for the reminder - it was recording last thing I needed was to check later and see FAILED there! lol I have still been here reading everyones news and sending out hugs, well dones & omg's but just not been up to/had the time to post...
Plus things were manic up until DH went away I shall quote his words 5 hours before he was due to leave... My questions was *groan* "Do you want me to sort out your case while you have a snooze?" (he had to leave here at 1am to meet up with dad and bro at Liverpool airport) His reply "Well you will have a better idea of what I need" :rotfl: Just as well a/ I love him and b/ I knew I would need to pack I was just waiting to see if he would try
I was just thinking I hadn't seen vanilla around the other day - If you are there hun let us know!
Just going to go watch the end of the Bill and then bake a cake for MIL. It was her birthday this week - since the kids are off school tomorrow I am going to take them down (with cake) during the day (instead of going at night) Need to clean the kitchen first but the kids are still awake (having a sleepover and DVD) I am really tired though - hope they fall asleep soon!
Huge hugs for you and lo G&B.
Night everyone x
lol Pigpen - I love the HHS!0 -
Well I've done NOTHING
I spent an hour on the phone to my mum again this morning then I took an ebay parcel to the post office only to be greeted by police cars & vans everywhere  Someone robbed and stabbed the security man making the money drop off just minutes before I arrived :eek: I thought gun & knife crime was going down
Anyways, I jumped the train into town and went on a small shopping tripGot some toiletries and some new clothes/boots (in prep for September - they were reduced or from Primark
) then came home via school to pick DD up and took her for her walk. So all in all I've been walking (including my pacing back and forth this morning while on the phone) for 9 hours  Excluding sitting on the bus home and about 30 minutes altogether after getting back in so I think I can safely say I've hit my 10,000 steps for today :rotfl::rotfl:
Something that will make you laugh - we were sitting having tea and watching "Great British Menu" when the female judge described one of the dishes as "Orgasmic" and DD went "Mummy, what does Orgasmic mean?" I couldn't answer her for laughing but managed to tell her to ask her dad:rotfl::rotfl:
Off to watch Hereos. Will catch up with jobs tomorrow :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Evening
GandB - hugs to both you and LO - hope you feel much better soon.
Hugs to anyone else who needs one.
I've actually put my work laptop away and am sitting with my feet up watching The Bill. I'm going to watch The Invisibles, it's so funny. DD made dinner while I did the ironing, and DH has washed up. I might manage to put the ironing away, or I might just throw myself in the bath, then fall into bed. I'm soooooooooooo tired. *big yawn*

That looks a bit better. I'm planning to get a bit more decorating done on the weekend, but have had advice from a maintenance man at one of the Care Homes I go to about how to tackle the laminate floor, and he says I'd best take my skirting boards off, so DS and I will probably have fun doing that. We've also planned some "Shed time" :rotfl:It should be father and son, but DH has created such havoc in the shed that we're going to empty it, and reorganise it over the weekend while he's away. (with cadets again ) He'll come back and not be able to find anything!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The really annoying thing is that most of the tools are mine but I can't find anything. Oh well, I'm going to have the :coffee: that DH has just brought me. There's more in the pot if anyone would like one. :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:
BTW - does anyone have any suggestions for removing BO from clothing. DD is quite embarrassed about this at times, but with some of her clothes I have tried allsorts, including Ace Bleach, so if you have any ideas, that would be great, thank you.
I hope I haven't missed anyone out in my "thoughts", as I think a great deal of my virtual friends. :hello: to any newbies, get well wishes and hugs to all Flyladies and their loved ones.

Ooo...I just remembered - you know the other week I was asking about bra sizes and the problems I was having due to loosing weight ... well one of the shops I went to today was M&S and I got fitted again - 38G now instead of a 42G
:j:j:j So I went to Primark and bought a 40F at £3 instead of the £12 ones the woman in M&S tried to sell me
