They reckon it was a stray bullet going through a fence next to the store. They are looking for 4 men seen in the street next to the store at the time it happened.
Hes a big wimp and always has been so (apart from me maybe :rotfl: :rotfl: ) no-one would ever have reason to do it intentionally.
Feels weird as me and OH where in the tesco the night before and passed him and so i pointed him out to OH and we were laughing saying its obvious i dont go for looks in men cos hes a big geek and has bright ginger hair!(no offence anyone!) and so then i was explaining to OH about why we broke up etc and saying how much i hated him. Hope no-one over heard... i'll be getting a knock on my door!! :rotfl:

OOh mixed emotions here... my local tesco (where i used to work) was closed off last night when OH was on way home cos someone had been shot in the carpark... looked it up online and was only saying to OH this morning how sad it was cos he was with his 7 year old daughter apparently...... mum just rang to tell me they have named him in the local news and its my ex!!!
I hate him cos he cheated on me and left me for his female "best mate" (whos daughter it is actually - not his. She was 2 when joe started seeing lisa) He made an absolute fool of me and i lost everything including all my friends during the split and it took ages to rebuild my life.....BUT i still feel a little bad.I mean i hate him but even im not that bitter to be happy at thought hes been shot!!
:rotfl: Luckily hes stable apparently.. but still EEK! Dunno what to think...
Oh Johanne!! How terrible! I've just read the article in the ECHO. Sounds like he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.0 -
Flylady is turning into it's only little soap opera right now isn't it. I guess that is why soaps are popular as they reflect true life.
Friend Mum has a bad break to the arm - straight across at the top where her arm pit is. She has been given lots of pain releif and is at home. I've brought her some peonies - my fave flowers (well at this time of year) which I'll drop round on my way to school.
Got most of my jobs done in town but not all so will cycle down in the morning straight from school.
Going to find/update my list and do a HHC before I zip out.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Johanna - what I shock. Think I would have mixed feelings too.
Since last on girls have been cutting paper and it is ALL over the lounge carpet, looks like it has been snowing in there:eek: . Glad I hadnt put the hoover away:rolleyes: . I have also done a spreadsheet in excel for my grocery budget and looks like £85 left even though I spend £40 on ebay postage and Euros for Dads birthday - which really shouldnt come out of that budget. Am worried now there are receipts somewhere I have missed:o .
Girls just come chunnering for a snack, philly with carrot and cucumber sticks it is.0 -
Hiya
Just popping on to look at my list. Hugs Johanne - how wierd you saw him last night too - don't worry, we don't suspect you !!!
Chunky - my wrist is getting better and better thankyou. I'm finding it harder to get used to having DH at home every night. Most odd!!! It's so wierd not having to do the tea, get the children ready, put them to bed etc on my own. Sure i'll get used to it. Saying that, he told me he'd be home for a year but text me earlier to say he's off to Holland for a week so I'm not banking on him being around!
Now, I really must find that list xx0 -
Haven't actually done any flying. Helped at the cake sale at school and popped the flowers in.
Going to do tea late as 2 boys at athletics and one absolutely stuffed with cakes - all plain ones so not too bad.
Think I'll try to do a few odd bits from my list to tidy it up a bit.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
