Wonder how Michelle is getting on? Hoping she is getting into a flow and that charlie and sam are being little angels for her.
Yes I am still sat here having my head pulled from side to side.0 -
Morning all
AnW'sMum hugest hugs for you, I hope some of your memories today will be happy ones x
Bit of a bad start to the day as a friends Mum (in her eighties) had a fall in the playground and has been taken to A&E with suspect disc shoulder and broken arm. I'm helping out by having their kids after school but keep wondering how she is, she was in so much pain.
I've done my dalies and half an hour on the kitchen garden so just doing a list and the off to town. Will reassess the flying when I get back. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Erm, yes think there might be a game tonight:rolleyes: Its the final game of the season, and we are level with Scummy Celtic at the top of the table. Rangers are playing Aberdeen at Pittodrie. Celtic are playing Dundee Utd at Tannadice. Assuming they will be on SetantaThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Thanks again to everyone.. You are all so lovely..
Well.. I took DS for his appointment.. they did bloods so basically we know nothing until they are back but the urine sample was sky high on glucose and had ketones as well..whether that was because it was early morning and he had already had his breakfast I don't know.. I am phoning the Endocrine nurse later as well just to keep them informed due to his growth hormone.. this might actually be a serious side effect so I think it best to check.
He has been sent to school with an extra 20p for a piece of fruit at break time. I was quite specific FRUIT!!..
He then had a wobble cos we got on 'the wrong bus' .. I said if you don't know where you are going wait until the bus gets to the station and walk back to school from there.. and if you get lost you go into a shop and ask one of the people who work there for help.. and you have your phone. I'll ring school in half an hour to make sure he got there alive!
Right.. taking my mothers shoes round to her house as I need the £7 so I can stick Tiddles in nursery all day tomorrow.. I need a day off to catch up so she can stay dinner.. and so I'll be back about half 12.. I have a freecycler coming to pick up the cotbed..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Morning All,
I've not been around for a couple of days, so most rooms only had a S&S as I've not been feeling so good. Though tonight after work I plan to get back in to the swing of things.
So it's a big list to get though over the next couple of days, as with half-term next week I'll have trouble staying on top of everything. As the whole house seem to become a hot spot:mad:  .
Have a good day to you all and hugs for those who need or want one.GC: £400/ £00 -
Thanks G&B found it and set to record... since DH will possibly/probably want to watch it when he gets back  I did know it was an *important* match - just didn't have a clue where to find it
Normally not an issue as DH comes home earns some brownie points for DIY in the run up to kick off then I leave him to it
Off to iron the bedding I keep on chucking from one ironing basket to another to avoid doing it - then I can make a start on cleaning the floors in bathroom and hall...
urgh don't want to move now :rotfl:0 -
Hugs for your son pigpen, I bet you would rather it was you. I always wish I could take away my kids problems. Hopefully your GP/endecrinologist will get him sorted out soon. I have one with growth problems too. He is nineteen now and is just about 5 foot eight and has stopped growing. He is delighted with his height! His big brother is 6' 4".
AandWs mum I will be thinking of you today and over the weekend. Lots of hugs to you.
Hugs to everyone else who needs them.
I had to read back as I couldn't remember if I had posted anything last night!
I had 3 glasses of wine. I don't think I should have so much with all the drugs I take. I will blame the football!
Flying wise, I have been doing this for a long, long, time and this week I have been a day ahead each day. :j :j :j So, yesterday i did master bedroom and I am now trying to find the carpet in boy's room. I have bought myself 3 grabber sticks so i can pick up all the detritus without touching it. :rotfl: No, I lie, it's so I don't have to bend down as I am on strict instructions fron physio. No bending, no twisting, no lifting!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Took LO to GI surgeon, bit of a wasted trip. She has a really large and unusual hernia on her side. They told me today they dont think theyll ever be able to fix it
She had an investigative laparoscopy last year and its a weak muscle, possibly caused by her spinal condition. Unfortunately because it has no defined edges like a normal hernia itll be almost impossible to fix:(
