    Morning all

Will be thinking of you and yours today pigpen and keeping my fingers crossed for a good outcome.

I can't believe it's Thurs already, where is the time flying to??? Can I have some strength vibes to get me through this next couple of days please. It would have been our tenth anniversary tomorrow and I so don't want to be going to work. Was sat here last night thinking '2 yrs ago we were at the NEC Quoing' It was a great night and the last pics of DH were taken there so very bittersweet looking at those now.

    Thank you!

And I''ll send you some strength to get through the next few days.. Being at work might be a good thing.. it gives focus to the day and a reason to get out of bed.. even if it is a feeble reason!

I think you should play the Quo REALLY loud and have DH's favourite meal for dinner..

(and pm me your hotmail thingy again you have somehow been accidentally deleted from mine and I can't find you!)

Pigpen - That's a lot going on for you, how do you stay sounding so positive about it all? Thinking of you this morning. Our docs is like that too, it's a pain in the a*** you have to predict when you're going to be ill as you can only get an appointment weeks/months in advance or ask for an emergency appointment first thing in the morning (assuming you can get through) I usually just turn up at the surgery and tell them I'm sitting there till they can see me, they're usually quite quick then

Pigpen - hope the appointment went well

AnW - strength vibes for the next few days, take care

Kaz - glad things at work hopefully resolved

Mudbath - good to hear your recovery is going so well (deliberately vague as can't remember if it is thumb or wrist!)

Spent longer in the garden yesterday than in the previous 4.5 years we've been here (yeah longer than 2 hours then!!) - had sister's children after school and she said I had to work the middle one (11) as she needed a reason to reverse punishment of no Champion's League but without him realising. Asked him if he would help on a gardening job - no problem and he suggested that he could help me in garden when OH away!!! :T :T And continued after he had gone and got it finished - at last, adds polish halo to 'to do' list!

Have a good day one and all
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Pigpen, well done with the debt 'loss'! Also a great big giant squishy hug from me, I think many would crack up with what you have to do on a daily basis, so goodness knows what the rest of us would be like if we had so much more pressure added. Well done for sticking to your guns with the GP surgery, our current one is loads better than the old one but I still find it amazing what they can 'fit in' when you insist on a home visit because there are no appointments! **Positive vibes being sent your way for your DSs appointment**

AnW'sMum, I know that you know we're always thinking of you, when Quo was on the radio the other day I was singing along thinking of you and your family. I suppose days like tomorrow are those which are there to test your strength but more importantly give you a time to reflect on the great times shared. We're all here if you need us, but you already know that.

Good morning everyone, a big hug for all of you! (because you're all lovely and deserve it)

Well it's catch up day here, everythings been left really over the last few days so today DP has been told what I said yesterday, that I no longer want anything to do with it and I am going to get on with things here and try to catch up! He's gone out with his relative car hunting, so he's out of my way (I'd call her his mother but she's never really been much of one) I will have to work from my own list, catching up where needs doing the most but using the one room at a time thing because otherwise I do little bits all over the place and it never looks any better. So far the washers on with DS2s duvet he's soaked last night, I've emptied the paddling pool and tipped it upside down, DWs been filled on, emptied and had it's filters washed.

Today for me so far (starting with the basics)

Online stuff - check emails, online banking, pay 2 bills, freecycle stuff
Laundry - 2 loads to put away that are dry, 4 loads to wash, 4 loads to dry (plus duvet)
[STRIKE] Kitchen - clear the benches, wipe down, clean manky sink, clean floor. [/STRIKE]
Living room - remove toys[STRIKE], remove DPs clutter, dust, [/STRIKE], clean window, vacuum and mop floor.
Dining room - tidy table, wipe table, dust vivarium, clean french doors, clean step, vacuum and mop
Conservatory - [STRIKE]clean step, clean doors, remove laundry that's been draped over everything to dry[/STRIKE], vacuum.
Hall - [STRIKE]remove clutter, tidy shoes and coats, put group swimming stuff in the car,[/STRIKE] vacuum
[STRIKE] Bathroom - clean toilet, sink and bath. Empty the bin and laundry basket. [/STRIKE]

Once that lots done will see what time it is and maybe do more, I've just remembered that my friend and little one are supposed to be coming over this afternoon, so hopefully get all that done before midday.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Hugs to AnWs Mum - I really love Pigpens idea (she is so good at the advice thing:T ).

Pigpen you are a star. I really dont know how you cope with it all and still have time to listen to everyone elses moans and groans. Let us return the favour and be here for you:D .

Well DD1 won her beanbag race yesterday, and her part of the relay race - but she enjoyed it so that is what I am happy about. She is off school today though as she has tummy ache and has had a couple of trips to the loo. Flying will be limited today so here is my plan:-

    Master bedroom

    Change bedding/hoover matress
    Dust
    Hoover
    Put ironing away

    Other jobs

    WM x 2 loads (1st one in)
Soak soaks in napisan (doing now)
Parcel up next and arrange collection
    S & S kitchen (do breakfast dishes)
Use left over chicken to make pies for freezer
    Filing
    Hoover through
Mop Kitchen, bathroom and porch floor
Move happyland stuff back to garage (kids playing playmobile this am)

Currently typing whilst DD2 is playing hairdressers, she has been very gentle........ so far.

    Happy flying all :D

Pigpen - forgot re doctor's appointment - ours has same system but if you ring latish in the afternoon the previous day you can sometimes get one of the first appointments for the next day as the ones from c8.10 to 8.30am can't just be allocated when the phones open at 8am. Otherwise if it is desperate you have to bypass the phones and be there in person at 8am to make an appointment.

It can be frustrating but ours is actually much better since they went onto the system of appointments only on the day but then I'm not trying to manage appointments for a family of 10 so should butt out!!
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
