Johanne.. how weird is that? My gran always says what goes around comes around so maybe this is his chance to turn himself around and sort himself out and count his blessings!
Back from the staff/governor training session.. I think I liked it more than the staff.. it was charts and data and info.. love it!!
The chair of the governors has also just said to me that he wants me at every meeting.. he said he was joking but I really don't think he was.. I only missed the finances and the parental involvement ones a few weeks ago.. tiddles was in bed.. it was like being told off as a child.. so I said I didn't realise I was on either of those committees and as someone who is not on it how can I make a vote on anything.... apparently I can.. and I told him afternoon meetings are difficult as I have Tiddles home and quite often she is tired but they are quite welcome to come have the meetings at my house on such occasions!!
I got DS2's report today too.. several of the teachers have said his work is messy and rushed, he is easily distracted and lacks confidence! Tomorrow I am phoning the school as obviously the staff are not all aware of his additional needs... Stupid teachers!! 'needs to develop his analytical techniques'... he doesn't even know what it means!!! honestly!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Evening everyone.
The engineer came this morning to change my electricity meter. Took one look at it and said I cant do that you will need a different engineer. I just looked at him and thoughtHe gave me a card so the next hour taken up with ringing NPower and they cant do anything till they find out why he couldnt do it.
They then proceeded to ask me if I wanted duel fuel with them. One good thing is a started a direct debit for my electric.
Anyhoo today I have done HHI, 1 WM load. Cleaned all downstairs. Then later went and did my meeting and greeting. Just had tea then later Im off out with my daughter.

Hi everyone
I've just caught up on thread. You've all been very busy again - leaving me standing, although I'm sitting down to do my ironing! I don't usually, but the ironing board I acquired from Freecycle coz mine broke, comes complete with a built on unremovable seat! Also I stood for over 5 hours doing observations today so my back's really painful!
Pigpen - hope DS is OK. I'm glad you were able to push for an appointment. Our GP surgery works on a "week before system" with appointments released at 10.00am so Monday for Monday etc. It's a real nuisance if you're at work and can't call at 10 coz they go within minutes. If it's an emergency they can usually fit you in on the day, but what the receptionists never tell you (and my GP did) is that they have "month ahead" appointments for routine issues, so I usually book those for follow ups for DS.
Johanne -
AnW's Mum - hugs and thinking of you this weekend.
Anyone else want a hug? (((((((hug)))))))
Hope to be back later to update my list, but going to do ironing before dinner.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

I have done pretty much nothing today, me and LO both feeling poop. She just fell asleep on the sofa watching Narnia. Poor little monkey has a temperature and has nearly lost her voice. Dose of nurofen and popped into bed.
Will tidy up, no dishes as neither of us wanted dinner:o Then listen to the footie. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Hi Ladies,
Just got in from work and haven't had chance to do anything yet! I'm off again tommorow though so I will try to get as much of the list done as i can. Plasterer is supposed to be coming tommorow(was due monday) I really hope he turns up this time as I have sorted a cheap decorator for next week. Just need to go and get some paint at weekend.
Ok for tonight I am going to aim to:
Tidy lounge and Dining room
S&S kitchen
Clean bathroom
And sort one of washing
Will leave the rest for tommorow I think! Can't do kids rooms this week either as dd1's room is bare and there is no room to move in dd2's room!DFW no.630!
