I have a Barclaycard (£2300) and Capital one card (£500)

when i rang to activate the capital one card, the advisor told me that they will increase the limit after the 0% on purchases period (6 months) finishes.

Are they likley to increase it by much? I took the card out, so that I can hopefully transfer some of my BarclayCard some time in the near future

I've spent £350 on the card, and am close to paying it off (it'll be cleared by the end of the 0% as its something silly like 36.9%

Do they offer Life time balance transfer rates for existing customers? or 0% offers on BTs for 6 months etc?

I don't have the best credit score in the world, and CO were the only company I could get a card with.

    Cheers

Didnt think Capital one offered 0% on sub cards? Welcome aboard!

Hi Liam and welcome to the thread.

TBH, none of us on here have had a 0% deal on our C1 cards. Because the Classics are aimed at the Sub-Prime market we just get the card - no offers!!

If you are already on a 0% rate, then towards the end of the period I would give them a call to see if they can extend it. Cap One have a policy of automatically increasing your limit on your 4th statement providing you have run the account well - although it is always a bit of a guess to what they raise it to!

Balance transfer what you can when they increase the limit and then just try and pay off as much as you can before the promo period ends.

Hi Louiser. Do you know or anyone to that matter, how long it takes for Littlewoods to increase a credit limit on your account?
