Spot on, it is not in your name.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Well good and bad. Applied for a full current account with HSBC (current account advance) and rather than getting the usual "sod off you have to be kidding letter" got a letter asking me to go into branch with proof of ID (passport or driving license) and address

Just one problem.... I don't have a passport or driving license :(

You can use a P2 Tax code notification, just ring HMRC and request one sent to your address.

The list I have only has that down for address verification and only for the basic account

I rang up before and woman on phone said I was basically screwed without any photo ID. Might try popping in branch anyway though and asking there
