It's coming up to my 4th statement for my cap 1 this week.

As it is such a low limit £200, I have not paid any intrest as I'm always paying towards it. I only use it to pay bills over the phone.

The only way they will make money is by rasing my limit to £1000! Overwise I will keep paying off what I owe and use it morelike an overdraft.

Slowly clearing my debt. Have cleared Vanquis (nearly - £9 on this month's statement and will pay once I get it) and Next. Will totally clear Jacamo at the beginning of next month once the returns are processed and will start chucking £300 a month at my Ulster Bank and will hopefully have a £0 balance by Easter for the first time since I got the card!

morning all i have a gouple of questions today. The first one is will my poor credit file stop me from leasing a car for my business?
Secondly i have several creditors who i have not paid as they have not provided a valid CCA agreement . these debts are now with debt collection agencies. I am loathe to pay them all the money as it they have loads of charges on them. I know i can claim them back but i am also aware that the collection agencies only paid a minimal amount for the debts. I want to pay them to clear my credit file (well at least make it better) what is the best way to deal with this ?

not really an expert at this but i would say for the debt you have which is with debt collection agencys, can you contact them and ask for a full and final settlement figure?? this usually is much less than what the balance is now but you would need to get this in writing if they come back with a figure you feel is ok, im sure though it needs to be paid in one go and isnt available to pay in monthly installments although im not sure so im sure someone will come in who is more knowledgable.

Not sure about the rest, But i would say definately it will effect your ability to lease a car as its normaly credit checked, But there are speciaist lease places for bad credit, My advice pay off your debt as soon as you can throw whatever spare cash you have at it
