Has anyone tried the old Vanquis Visa latley? They seem to accept people with low/Adverse credit ratings.

Not checked my file lately. Have started to pass the odd credit check again though. This year I've managed to get 2 contract phones for the first time since 2005 and have been paying them. Also have some green zeros from virgin media and should be getting some from JD williams now
  • well i just got approved today for a laptop for £15 per month for my son through the car phone warehouse on my Talk Talk bill and my credit rating is seriously bad. However they spell my name wrong at talk talk would it make a difference?

by ek flooded with questions ok sammy chances are very high at high street bank as i had 4 defaults older than 1 year and oh had none and we got one no probs again they look at ur good history as well although things tightned up at mo due to credit crunch but trust ya mortgage adviser my best friend is one had no probs getting us one if needs be they will refer to undewriters and as an ex underwriter defaults are not a concern more ccj iva bankcruptcy hope that helps

    Thank you :)

We're on you like a pack of wolves lol

That does make me feel better. A couple of months ago, I thought I wouldn't get a decent mortgage until 2013 when my last default falls off

Out of interest, do many lenders search Callcredit. I used to check that report but don't anymore. TBH that's the worst of my 3 files, so I'm pleased it doesn't get used that much :o
