Crikey, you guys have been busy for the last hour lol.

Sutton, yes PC Rav is a bona fide copper. He did work at Peckham police station for years but has taken a break to concentrate on his tv work. He was on that wall programme with dale winton on Sat lol. In a nice tight spandex suit :p

Anyways, Wannabe, you're providing some great info :) I have a question :D What about mortgages? We're remortgaing in the new year and my broker thinks that we could get a high street lender (we're currently sub prime). OH has squeaky clean files, and I have 2 defaults on my Equifax, one settled in Oct 2005 and one settled in March 2007. No defaults on Experian. What do you think our chances are :)

Money, HSBC is one of the hardest cards to get so you've done well there :T Make sure you make a payment every month, and then in 6 months you should get another mainstream card no probs. But that's ok, you can be an honorary sub primer lol
  • hopless i got a big fat no from monument but got accepted for alliance and leicester premier account and credit card

Has anyone tried the old Vanquis Visa latley? They seem to accept people with low/Adverse credit ratings.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

I love my Vanquis card :D I don't know why, I have a strange attachment to it lol. I think it's the £250 limit, so I don't spend much on it - it controls my spending lol
