Thank you Clio and London. Yes i had given up. It was a stab in the dark when i applied to be honest. It just goes to show you how differently these credit companies operate.
The good thing about this-dont ever write yourself off when applying for credit especially after rejections.

I dont know why its taken so long.........probably bogged down from all the apps from the SPCCC!!! Hooray!!

Im going to check my previous posts now to see how long ago i applied. Obsessed now you see!!

Well quite busy at work over the last week - but not today , hence popping up on here!
Still awaiting to see if I was accepted for 'My World' card , been nearly five weeks . Saw one of our previous posters got there's after waiting six weeks. Looks as though its been quiet here..

I have a CCJ and Default form 04 recorded twice??!! 22 searches in the last 6 months.

Rejected by Argos,Monument,Next, simply be and Nationwide current account with debit card.

I have Cap1.......... £100 Limit
Mbna........... £500
Studio ..........£140
Littlewoods.....£450
Additions.........£250
Still waiting on Vanquis!

So you see i have small amounts of credit available.

Thats why i was so suprised to get the 3k. All thanks to everyone who contributes on here.:T :j :j

i hope mine comes soon!! i got accepted instantly and was told card and pin would arrive in 7-10 days, hope i dont have to wait 6 weeks though!!

I think it was MR P that said sygma are the only ones who rang his work and asked about him so maybes the 6 weeks it takes is coz they are ringing around before they issue it. I applied for my tesco card and got it within 8 days.

I got a letter from monument today saying that my card will be with me shortly but they have had problems with the plastic!

I think you will be O.K. Louiser-as you got accepted instantly.

I dont think they rang work though, not that i know of anyway.

I have an account with JDWilliams (who doesn't?:rolleyes:) , and today I got am email from them inviting me to apply for a Sigma card..... I applied online, and got the 7-10 day message.
Does anyone thing this is a good sign that I may get the card??

I got told this by their customer service yesterday, the card issuer had problems getting them done for new customers like us but they are being sent out by the end of the week and will be with us 7-10 days after that. I posted a thread about it earlier along with a contact number for their customer services if you don't get your card after that
