After lot's of advice and research decided to apply to Vanquis and Aqua in the hope that one or the other will say yes. My credit file is not bad, only 1 late payment showing, score on Experian 999.My only down fall is I am financially linked with my husband who although he does not have anything negative on his file, does not have any current credit.
Do you think this will affect my application for either of the above cards?

Hi Jack,

Welcome to the board

I can't see why you shouldn't be accepted for these 2 cards. If you have credit history in your own name, your husband's limited history shouldn't have too much of a bearing. Does your husband have anything on his file at all?? If not, he should try and get a card or two purely to build up his history and then you'll both be prime high street all the way

well having a lazy day - popping around the shops , then doing some 'home' work and then we are having lunch around 4pm (when I get around to making it) .
OMG! Just paying my bills and Additions have whacked my limit up....that LCD tv looks tempting....mmMM.

Yes, he was born premature and has a faulty throat, needs a tube put in his throat to help him breath and has to be fead via a tube, poor little boy he has had it tough, but the good news is he is on the mend.

Good news he's on the mend . My mate and his other half's baby had a similar condition and was in hospital for months - now he's six and run's around causing havoc!
