hey guys there is no way that im doing this and have no intentions of doing it either

but there is a guy i work with who obtained all his credit in the name other than his real name
ie he kept his last name but changed his first name but kept it so that it had the same first letter
so it started as mr john smith
and he applied with mr james smith
as he was never accepted for anything under his real first name

    is this even legal???????

    the name was for example

Well this is a tricky one, in order for this to have worked for him he would have had to of changed his DOB too as the Bank/Finance house would have just simply gave him an alias on his credit files, so I think there is more to this than meets the eye darcy, technically this is Fraud with intent so tell him to watch his step or he could be looking at 5 years in the nick!

Flybe do seem to be more relaxed about giving out cc to people

Theres three tiers 16.9 19.9 and 24.9 APR

From reading previous posts people with defaults arrears get the 24.9 and a limit of upto 2k

people with some debt and afew credit cards get 19.9 with between 2-4k

people with excellent credit little debt etc get the 16.9 apr with a limit of 5k+

ive only read one person get that though

not sure if thats helped but they do seem to be accepting people on a regular basis and most were suprised by the limit given i know i was.

We got the 19.9 with a 5k limit

How about giving us advice on how to remove ourselves from any part of

Vanquis will call you if you have been successfull, Sygma bank...well they can get stuffed for me, they give out cards to people with defaults et al and for a person who has no bad data on his files and manages credit very well is turned down without explanation? What can I say, there computer system must be faulty!
