Had an interesting time trying to transfer balances off my vanquis, barclaycard and capital one to flybe card today!

First, flybe operator told me i needed to phone the other companies to transfer the balance as it would be classed as theft if they did it....so i phoned round the others who told me the complete opposite!

then i checked my flye information page that came with card and on it said...if you want to transfer a balance from other store or credit cards to your new mastercard, phone us on.....

So the first dude is a stupid banana head!

then when i did it, i gave the card numbers for each of the three accounts, as requested. Then I got asked for my account number and sort code for each card??!

I checked my online statements for cap 1 and barcaly, nope, no sort code/acc no...

went back to the operator who was insistent they needed this at first, who then said it was not a probem, they could still do the balance transfers and it will take 7 - 10 days.

What a annoying experience!

yeah used to go to southsea a lot, and into pompy to browse the shops:)
yeah heard they gave the naval houses to all and sundry and now it,s a right dive ..

Linton what apr did they give you on your flybe card then?? - it's horrible when you cannot get any sense out of them cs people, it makes you wonder how some get employed ..

Evan did you get 0% for 6 months then ??

Does anyone know where the flybe cs are situated ? I've phoned twice and each time i couldn't tell the accent just curious thats all.

btw you can also do transfers to your bank account with the flybecard not interested unless it would be 0% which it isn't but thought id put it out there

I got 19.9% which is the second tier

i assume people with the 16.9% rate will get the 0% for six months.

Just waiting till wednesday to see what happens with the mbna card limit i have a
sneaky feeling mbna will lower my limit once ive paid it off. I read that barclays did that to athens when she paid hers off.

No, I didn't get 0% for 6 months. But I want all my debt to be with the flybe card, then I'll get that paid off as quickly as possible, and use my barclaycard initial and capital one to make small purchases each month and then pay off in full.

nah you'll be allright virgin/mbna are more into raising your apr lol. that's there 1st move.. you may get a better apr of flybe after a couple of months \0/
