As the sig-block says: fat, female and fabulous;)
I've always been big, and I don't see the point in beating about the bush. I'm not deluded, I'm fat;) I'm on a fair few fora and I've been using rfb as a moniker for many years now. I've got hockey shirts with it on the back, which has been known to make people stop and blink when I'm wandering aboutFat, female and fabulous

Phew!!!!
I've just spent the last hour reading the thread from page 1 to 25. What a great thread. I am in the middle of paying off my debts and am starting to rebuild my credit rating. I received my Capital One card (one with a puppy on the front) with a surprising £1000 limit. I do have some questions which I hope you may be able to answer:
1) What is a suitable number of credit accounts. At the moment, I have a Halifax Visa which I have had for absolute years (but still not paid off), a mortgage, mobile phone contract, Barclays bank account, and now my new Capital One.
2) What is an acceptable number of searches. In the past year I have had only 2 or 3
3) What other sub prime cards should I go for?
My Experian score is 631, and my goal for cleaning my credit file is to get a decent mortage. We took out our mortgage a year ago with a sub prime lender, and ideally want to start looking at more main stream when our fixed deal is up (May 2009)
I would very much appreciate some advice.
Cheers, Sammy x0 -

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
Thank you Proliant
I've just bitten the bullet and applied for a Vanquis card online. After filling out loads of info (including bank details ??) it said that they could not give me a decision and will respond in 10-14 days. I did think about applying for Aqua, but I already have a Halifax Visa, and was wondering if I'm allowed to apply for another card as they are the same HBoS group

Nothing heroic about honesty:o
Anyhoos, I was a naughty girl earlier, I applied for finance for a new computer and was knocked back, woe:(
I think I'm going to take those shameful steps away from the apply buttons. How long shall I give it guys? Seasoned thoughts? Three months? Six? Thirty seconds?Fat, female and fabulous
