Congrats on the account doelani :j

Flybe said no to me, how can cap one give me a grand and flybe say no outright - this credit scoring is so messed up!!!!

I have all my letters ready to post with regards to default removal - I am hoping that they will just do it as they already have their money :D

Dolally, what are you saying in the letters? Are the defaults satisfied?

I only ask cos mine are all settled, but the last one won't drop off til 2013 :(. So I can't decide whether to send a pleading letter to remove as goodwill, or CCA letters and if they don't produce CCAs, then demand for the default to be removed.

Which course of action are you taking?
  • Anyone had the 7-10 day reply off Flybe know how long it actually takes to get a reply mines been 10 days now?

I didn't note down my reference number tbh i thought i'd hear a no soon anyway, don't fancy ringing when they see how unorganised i am with a ref number they might think thats how i handle my credit too and reject even more:D

I am already registered for online banking with my Ulster Bank credit card. I only received the application form yesterday so posted it off with my leccy bill and bank statement.

I forgot you ahd done it online, I still have not got my online registration through, well have one number not the other. Went yesterday and opened savings account with them so have to wait on card and pin for it as well.

Only thing is they seem so slowwwwwwwwwwww. Have card now and went to branch today to get them activated and NOW they order the pin. Ph well saves me spending what I have out in it lol

so next have to cancel my prepaid cards and no point now that I have credit card ( aqua and vanquis ) and debit card.

Ooooo i got a Cashplus! Does anyone else have trouble with it being accepted in shops? Iv stopped bothering now because of the shame...... I use it on internet though and its fine.

My hubby and I both have cashplus for over a year and have never had any bother with it. Most places now just get you to put card into chip and pin machine so no reason why anyone would know it is a prepaid and anyway how many of them would know or care?

Does the Ulster Bank report to the CRAs that you run a good account?

Not sure if they report, do not really care :rotfl: . Your right about people taking things for granted. before we had IVA I had 2 debit cards with cheque gaurenteee. I have cheque book with my Halifax Cardcash account and to be honest only use cheques to pay a few things by post so does not matter about card. If I had said I did not want cheque book/card they would have given me a Solo card which I did not really want.
