    Hi, I've been reading this thread from the beginning!! Originally logged on for some advice with applying for credit and sorta got hooked!!

    Back in 2005 I was a bit silly with money, didn't care about late charges or paying two phone bills. Everything was settled in 2006, albeit obtaining two defaults, one on a credit card and one on a bank account. My credit score is like 640 now, having a bank account, one personal loan that i took for a holiday, a kays account i barely use and a phone bill. I've read alot of info saying i should apply for these sub prime credit cards, but i've just applied for vanquis and got told i'd need to wait 10-14 days... does this mean i'm gonna get a no??? I've tried so hard to get my credit score back on track, but does anyone know how much more i've got to go before i'll start getting accepted again??

    Any help much appreciated :)

    Tesco man's been and gone now. That's my lot until next week lol. Just waiting for the Dominos man now, although he's not half as dishy ;)

    Hello and welcome to the thread, you might get the Vanquis card yet, just wait for a fone call, that is the standard practice for them, have you tried Monument Visa yet?
