    Hi Bluerover and welcome :hello:

Well done on moving up that ladder :) It is a waiting game, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I owe a lot to this thread. I have been paying off my debts and trying to keep my file clean. I never even knew that sub prime cards existed, and if it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't have even thought of applying for any credit until all defaults had "dropped off"!!

Because of this thread, I am now a proud owner of a Cap 1 (£1600), Vanquis (£250), MBNA (£3100) and as of tonight an A&L Premier account (with £100 cashback :D )

Stick with us and we'll all get there together :D

Thanks and I had never heard of sub prime before either.

See MBNA wanted to give me a higher limit but I said £1000 was fine thanks...
having no debt on them means I am just rebuilding nicely. In one way my defaults have made me think about what I spend and what I do with my money. Without them and this board in general I would have carried on willy nilly.... spending paying minimum, unaware of what goes in and out of my account rather than paying in full ever month well before the due date and knowing what and where I spent my money...and certain I have the means to pay or not spend. And checking my balance on my bank accounts once a week at least. And setting up a piggyback account(see even know the terminology now:rotfl: Yes I have street cred) to pay DD from and another for food and then another for general spending and now even have an ISA...................:A how reformed am I. Oh yes also requested understood my Credit report (not even aware they exsisted pre Oct 2007) now requested 4 since then all the £2 ones...and seeing a major leap forward as the 0's mount up and up.

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
