i am going to manage my account with A & L very well as i love the look of there rewards credit card i would love to pull that little minx out of my ever filling wallet lol trouble is its filled with utter crap lol

Hi all

Been reading your posts this morning - and decided to apply for the a & l account - i was declined

I have 1 ccj - and a few defaults - some satisfied -

applied for vanquis - no
applied for aqua - no
cap 1 - no

been with natwest for apprx 4 years step account - natwest refuse to upgrade me - over 2k going in every month

Just got a yorkshire readycash - not sure if this account is upgradeable

Applied to flybe this morning - mess said they would contact me in 7-10days -so i guess that will be another no

Any advice ????

id advise the mbna, trouble is youre doing a load of searches altogether now, some of us are being offered the mbna with a £100 deposit over 6 months, and getting it back if the account stays in the clear

try to either satify all accounts or try to remove some as i have been cleaning my credit file for 6 months and all over the last month i have 2 credit cards and a full current account just be strong and battle the defaults and ccj if you get them removed you will start seeing a possitive change i could get jack squat 6 months ago!!

lmfao you men are just as bad as women when it comes to filling up your wallets with unnecessary stuff as we do with handbags lol, hubby cleared out his wallet a few weeks ago, and anyone would think it left him naked the amount of fuss he made about it lol

This gives me the impression that my OH's application was successful as his reply stated that his new card and pin would be with him in the next 7-10 days. It also included a ref number etc.

What kind of limits are people getting?

i have followed the same pattern as you.
I have a Natwest Step account they won't upgrade me either, so i appiled for a readycash account at Yorkshire bank because you get a maestro and they offered me a full current account( how i don't know) anyway i need an account closer to were i live so i just appiled for alliance and leicester and got decline as well, vanquis declined me so did cap one and MBNA so the world of finance is completely mad!

if my mind remembers correctly, someones had £1000 and anothers had £2000 limit, not sure of any others, its the highest i remember of course lol

does anyone have the phone number for A&L cause i ticked i want to transfer all my DD and wages over but cause its the time of the month am worried things are going to get messed up with the change over.
