Well told hubby last night and he can see why i did it and he was ok with it as long as I am sensible , I will be I promise.

he agrees with me though I am cancelling the Vanquis card when it arrives and just keeping the Aqua. He applids for Aqua this morning and it was approved online for £800 :eek: I did not realise they did intant approvals.

this means we can both get rid of our prepaid cashplus cards, although they ahve been handy may as well use a proper CC if we have them , our spending on them is less than £100 a month each so can just use it for CC instead.

Just finished application for A&L as well, email says will hear within 24 hours, not holding out much hope but will see.

I never have had a current account but be good to have one. I do have a basic account with Lloyds TSB but will keep that open cause they record with the credit agencies. all good

hey i have a lloyds basic account and no reporting to cra's and im fed up as its my bill paying account had a new visa card that i can use at shops but only allowed to use a lloyds cash machine which sucks cos the nearest lloyds is about 10 miles away

thats exactly the reason i want to change. i went and spoke to them cause i work abroad ( in russia at moment ) and i cant use my bank card due to there !!!!!! rules. and they refused giving me a upgrade. i pay in 3k a month aswell and still nothing
