well done mate... good example that it can be done if you push!0

Had my Vanquis card for 5 months now and have paid them less than £10 in interest all that time. I thought it would be better to be charged something if I want to get a limit increase or APR reduction. A limit of £250 is not really useful if I want to book a holiday or something. I hope that my limit goes up soon. Be more thankful for a lower APR though!0

and push you must i have 1 more thing i need off my file but dont think i will get that off so easy
british gas were a bit bully'ish' at first when i rang to pay the outstanding balances
but after i spent some time researching and reading up i phoned them back only to have the rudest person tell me that they did not care that my wife died at 21 and that i should have paid my bills (yeah really)
this made me feel it was personal and read a little more
when i rang them last week i refused to listen to the guy on the phone and told him what he was going to do and shock horror he told me that they were not able to remove the defaults and that i would have to let it ride out
so i told him i had spoke to a solicitor who was willing to take on my case as this was there mistake and mt solicitor would seek compensation i then asked him his name as i would need it as his name would be mentioned in court the phone went dead and after about 30 seconds he told me to hold i did for around 10 mins i think he was hoping i had hung up when he said hello i asked him if he was going to pay for my phone bill for the time i was on hold he said no and i said it was another thing my solicitor would claim back in court again he would not give me his name!!
so my bnext step was to mention citizen advice and energy ombudsman and that they placed a default illegally without the proper paperwork he said so what at this point i asked him if he was admitting it was unlawfull? he said maybe i then told him thats great as the phone call was being recorded by me and that this will aslo go to my solicitor when i go to court his tone all changed asked me to hold....... a good twenty mins later he told me that the defaults would now be removed and that they were very sorry for the inconvience caused i told him i wanted confirmation that this was going to happen in writting so off i went to pontins 5 days ago come back i had a letter to confirm there actions and when i logged onto experian there they were'nt
victory for darcy all of my part was a little bit daring as there was no recording of that conversation, no solicitor, no citizen advice and no energy ombudsman just the right words i guess but there were no default notices so i was well within my rights they had annoyed me that much i would have taken them all to court regardless of price they seem like a bunch of bullying cowboys anyone who has had a default from british gas fight them and be assertive as they bottle when you know what your on about!!!you cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0 -
